Green fund? More like "liquor and whore" fund for the leadership class of Third World members and the U.N.'s corruptocrats. It is one shake down after another with these guys.
Time to let the U.N. fail and sink into the history books alongside the equally corrupt League of Nations.

Who pays? Just listen to these kleptocrats. Disgusting.

Well, obviously it should be the citizens and taxpayers of the "wealthy" countries. After all, this isn't about the environment, its about extorting money and transferring wealth. Socialism writ large.

Its really what many of the big leaders are doing here... I'm not gonna rant on this tiny keyboard, so I'll cut through the chase. Any energy saving products you may but be it LED lights, solar backups, wind turbine are going to have special taxes attached to them so you are best advised to either make your own devices or get them underground.
If you own a house in Japan and you want to put solars on your roof, you're gonna pay 2 million yen to the TEPCO (or what ever regional player you have in your area) just to be allowed to put it on and you will be monitored. This is one tiny method countries have come up with to help pay for these. Oh, I don't sell to individuals so I don't think I'm violating anything

About the solar panels, I think skipthesong is right, we wanted to get solar panels on our house here in Tokyo, but our city government told us that they only had a few special allotments, where the government gives you a special loan etc...I guess TEPCO etc..are not too happy if we can make our own energy huh?

Since when did the world have an election and elect the UN to levy taxes. Well since they did, and China seems to have all the money in the world now, wouldn't it be "fair" to have them pay more of these "Green Taxes" since they are wealthy.

The UN is useless. Let's disband it already.

One step closer to a NWO.

elbuda: Try this.. just start putting alternative energy products and NOT say anything to anyone and watch what happens. They'll find out, as soon as your electric bill drops 50%, they'll be knocking on your door.

A blog asked: Have you ever notices that the UN Climate pickpockets are mostly concerned with how climate change is ravaging third world countries, but they never have their summits in those areas?
And as to who pays-- obviously it won't be the people (and small biz) who pays through their electricity bills, gas bills and taxes.

A recent article read that it was the UN "Peacekeepers" in Hati that was among the main causes of the cholera outbreak. Not to mention the various nefarious actions of peacekeepers in places like Serbia and Africa, I would not want the UN in charge of administering an environmental tax. Just would be rife with corruption.
