Accused of commiting hundreds of attacks and killing thousands. But the article only mentions a few killed here and there. Bizarre. Is this a test of our ability to understand numbers?

Why do these trials take so long? i mean 30 years just to prepare a trial for a case he has already somewhat pleaded guilty. life is weird sometimes.

Why would anybody mention "parole" and this guy in one sentence? I think he is in just the right place, for French prisons are not exactly known for their luxury Anyway, he has to stand trial again since fresh evidence has been unearthed linking him to yet more murders.
