Charlotte new favorite for British royal baby's name

The family is waiting for the tension to mount and place a bet for the best favorable name to win big.

Charlotte? I think of the songs "Charlotte the H..." and "22 Acacia Ave". So if they listen to Iron Maiden then I think you can rule out Charlotte.

I'm not sure this is so pointless this time. A perfectly timed royal birth for the election and all the ensuing nonsense in the media could give the Tories a boost in election week. No doubt the royals themselves will be hoping this is the case. Victoria could be very fitting if the Tories are returned on Friday.

@Wakarimasen The Tories will love all coverage of this including the silly 'suspense' of what name will be chosen. Keep this patriotic bounce as high as possible. An announcement of 'Victoria' on Wednesday night would have the Tories slavering.

I have made a ten Pound bet that the name will be, "Shanice". The odds are a bit low but I stand to make a fair bit if I'm right.

The bookies favourite isn't Charlotte. All the bookies I've looked at has Alice at the top.
