Honestly, who cares what that nut thinks? As if his opinion counts, of course he wants Obama to win, two minds, same ideologies, both losers!

First Romney says Russia is US enemy #1. Now Venezuela is an outright threat. Who's advising Mitty in foreign affairs? Neocons for sure.

Chavez needs to keep his mouth shut or else he'll simply drum up support for Romney.

@bassfunk Please tell me that you don't think that Obama and Chavez have the same ideology. If you do, that arguably qualifies as the most idiotic statement I've heard on politics outside of a Fox News/Sarah Palin interview.

Yep, Mit is surrounding himself with the same people Bush had. And Obama is basically continuing Bush's foreign policies. So we shouldn't expect anything to change either way. Unless, Ron Paul manages to win the upcoming convention, in which case he would likely win the presidency.

Like I'm going to listen to some nut-job third-world dictator tell me who would be the better leader of my country?!?!?!

Oh, well if the honorable socialist dictator Chavez prefers Obama, then it's settled! Re-elect his buddy! NOT!

Too many ignorant comments here. We can complain about Mr.Hugo Chavez night and day until we are red in the face, but Venezuela, that 3rd world country as some ignorant soul here posted, HAS LOTS AND LOTS OF OIL, yes and the USA buys lots and lots of OIL from Venezuela, so if Venezuela had no oil, sure tell Chavez to go take a jump in a lake, but oops, this guy is kind of like FIDEL CASTRO but with lots and lots of OIL and PETRO $$$, so guess why so many folk support him. But if he spoke words of wisdom it has to be saying old Romney is callously selfish CAPITALIST ELITE, and aint that the truth!

Oh boy!! Prez, you are in deep, deep, sheep dip with Hugo's casting his vote for you. Just hope you don't get any endorsement from li'l dictator in North Korea or JP Ozawa.

Hugo thinks the US gave him cancer through a special ray-gun along with several other Latin American leaders, are we to believe that too?

I don't think, it obviously clear that the path we are going as a country, it mirrors Chavez's ideology in every sense ofthe word. Please with all due respect, tell me all the great accomplishments that Obama has done for the country. Even the pundits on the MSNational Barack Channel can't defend some of his idiotic radical polices, yeah, you can always count on Madcow blow hard Ed and Sharpton to back this lunatic.

The Romney campaign is secretly getting other dictators to endorse Obama, high on the list is Kim Jong Un, Baby Assad, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Raul Castro.

"Please with all due respect, tell me all the great accomplishments that Obama has done for the country."

How on earth does that statement reinforce your preposterous suggestion that Obama and Chavez have the same ideology?

The only radicalism here is your own, Bass.

Chavez gave free heating oil to the poor in BOSTON a few years back, no lie, see what Romney thought about that??

  • 2

    Serrano

Yeah! Chavez has a short memory! Why, Romney expressed his gratitude to Chavez for the free heating oil, and what does Chavez do now? He disses the man! Sheesh!

Both are committed socialist, are big on entitlements and big governments, both are pompous and loud-mouthed, therefore, I think that would put them in the same category.

The only radicalism here is your own, Bass.

Oh, on the contrary, The person that is the "real radical" is currently occupying the WH.

That's the kind of comparison that should disqualify one from being taken seriously. Just... Plain.... Silly...

If this isn't the kiss of death for Obama, I don't know what is. When the loonies start publicly supporting you, you're doomed.

Doesn't seem to have hurt Romney... But seriously folks. Or, if silly is the word of the day... Who would the klan "signal preference " for? or... or... Charles Manson, or Hitler? Or Ted Nugent? Or Berlusconi?

Unless, Ron Paul manages to win the upcoming convention, in which case he would likely win the presidency.

Hey, Ciao, see you are praying for a miracle, huh? Wait a sec...weren't you the one claiming that Paul had all those secret delegates? What are you going to do when that turns out to fall flat on its face? Just a bit more time before that happens.

@bassfunk So we finally got the basis for your comparison of Obama and Chavez. Sir, some comments are beyond criticism and serious discussion. I can only recommend a little study of Chavez's social and economic policies and abuse of democracy and then seriously compare this with the policies of the Obama administration. If you see the same ideology at work, you must be among those who accused Bush of socialism for bailing out the banks.

If you feel that I have insulted his majesty for coming him to Chavez, may I remind you that when Bush was President and when many liberals were calling him every name in the book and comparing him to Hitler, that was ok, but to say that Obama's Polices are similar to Chavez's or that Obama is a committed socialist then that is morally and ethically wrong to criticize the President in such a disrespectful manner, because you think he deserves it or that questioning his political world viewpoints are fascist?!

  • 1

    Jimizo

@ bassfunk So you would describe comparisons of Bush to Hitler as ignorant? Completely without foundation? Partisan? Any serious person would describe your comparison in the same way. Countering an idiotic comparison with another is not an argument. Let's have constructive arguments - not something that belongs at a slack-jawed teabagger rally.

  • -4

    bass4funk

    @Jimizo,

I wasn't trying to make an argument, that is your opinion, I was just stating a point and if my comment displeases you, so be it. I am allowed to make any statement that I wish, I was just saying, that I see a definite resemblance in ideology and their world viewpoint, if you don't think so, fine, you think otherwise and I am ok with that. But it seems like you really want to engage in Partisan arguments. Again, I do not, I was merely making a simple, but accurate observation IMO.

Well, that settles it then. If Chavez prefers Obama then there's no contest.

Thankfully that a-hole will be dead in six months, and hopefully Mr. Obama will return to his post as community organizer.
