Typical of the Big Brother undemocratic tactics of the evil Communist regime in China. Time they were overthrown.

China is a bitter drink for the world, according to Cuban master Castro. People outside China may cry/curse, makes no difference to Dragon power.

    “civilized Internet management and access.”

May be better then the "lessie faire" of the West. Like the YouTube videos for the Jonas Brothers being hijacked to feature hard core porn. If the West would enforce abuses then we could cry foul. No, The Chinese have the moral upmenship on this one. The West does have the filth. Only the Chinese will take it to the other extreme and block things like Tiananmen Square. We need a middle road for both the Middle Kingdom and the West.

From what I've been reading it also makes every computer open to attacks through a virus that can target the software....

"People outside China may cry/curse, makes no difference to Dragon power."

"after a public outcry at home and abroad."

Apparently people inside China may cry/curse and it makes no difference.

China will claim that this code is to filter porn. I am willing to bet that it can also be used to filter anything the Chinese govt. doesn't want distributed. There are few freedoms guaranteed to the citizens of China. We all need to be aware of this in our business deals as well as our political issues.

It's so sad.....the PRC openly places constraints on Internet activities while the US hides their constraints w/ extensive monitoring. Both are a form of censorship. Which is better I don't know.
