It has been well known, for years, that joining the CCP was good for business reasons. Corruption has always been the traditional motor of the Chinese economy, the same way greed is the motor of capitalism. If you take away corruption, you take away the incentive. That could be a problem.

The idealistic version of Communism is impossible. In every example so far it has always resulted in creating a totalitarian state where a handful of tyrants terrorize the average citizen.

One of the things China doesn't need is any more communists.

Interesting that the first paragraph starts out noting "a figure greater than the population of Germany"... which beings to my mind "a single party-led nation holding sway over the lives of many more from different nationalities" - sounds like the place the Allies fought against tooth and nail in the early 1940's...

Interesting and to think there are some people that don't believe China is a communist nation.

Simply put, do they have a choice? The resounding answer is no... well not quite. One can always leave China and join the ROC in Taiwan.

Well, they have no other party to join in Communist China except Communist Party. I don't think its big deal for Communist Party. Peoples who join the Communist Party were opportunists and looking for business opportunity.
