summarizes (not only the U.S.A) but all kind of foreign investment in this communist country and makes it clear that foreign free websites have no free hand.

Remember, this is not just about restricted search access; there are suspicions that the Chinese government was involved in hacking Gmail accounts of people hostile to the regime. A search of the Net will show that other companies, notably Adobe, have faced similar attacks. (Reminder: update your Adobe software!) Restrictions can be tolerated in the spirit that a little freedom will lead to more; state-based hacking cannot.

Google should pull out of China, then start plans to release software that gets around China's firewall. Either that or they should "follow the rules" as the Chinese government does and start hacking into Chinese government accounts.

This was from IE Zero-Day (Microsoft internet explorer 6-8 flaw). China didn't have much to do about it.
