“We urge the U.S. side to fully understand the high sensitivity of Tibet-related issues, honor its commitment to recognizing Tibet as part of China and opposing ‘Tibet independence,’”
We urge China to open its eyes and realize that most of the world likes to speak with the Dalai Lama and that every time it "Blasts" another sovereign nation about it, it makes China look even more like an ass.

This is how Dalai Lama has spent his life after taking asylum in India. A failed good man without any real achievement(s) !

But a good man with good intentions nonetheless! Better than the old communists keeping control in China and complaining about the rest of the world while they enslave Tibet.

That's why I admire Obama. And the Dalai Lama.

America: "Tell you what, China: we'll start giving a cold shoulder to the Dalai Lama after you stop propping up the regime of that people-abducting, drug-smuggling, arms-dealing, currency-counterfeiting, nuclear-armed maniac in Pyongyang."

Will reporters please stop dramatisising headlining articles that they write."China warns US" China didn't warn anybody ,all they said was "It could damage"that is not "we warn you not to speak to the Dalai Lama". We know headlines sell newspapers, but please print facts not your interpretation.,

Obama might remember that "Helicopter" Ben Bernanke doesn't determine the value of the U$ Dollar. China does.
Mind your manners, these folks hold what's left of your financial future in their hands. Remember that!

While Chinese leaders can ONLY welcome their comrades ; Western leaders, Obama included, have bigger minds to welcome Dalai Lama,a gentle, peaceful, desirable being of human race.

If you don't realize that I suggest you take some graduate level Finance and Economics classes. Look at the percentages before you make such ridiculous claims.
I could go on and on about China's addiction and reliance on America's consumption practices. I could tell you how dangerous it is to cut off the gravy train. I could give examples of emerging economies that want to buy our dollars and also replace Chinese goods but I would rather take tclh's approach.
The Dalai Lama is a gentle, peaceful, desirable being of the human race and should be welcomed by western leaders if not embraced. We will not stand by and allow China to take away our humanity just because their leaders lack it.
