More dangerous than volcano erupting in Phillipines, people have been moved to safer places.

    WOW!!

Environmentalists and poorer nations say richer countries should reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by 40% or more by 2020, compared with 1990 levels, to avoid serious climate damage.

This is quite a requirement. I think the developing nations are a little overboard here.

The U.S. has offered only a 3% to 4% cut.

The US can sure do better then this as an offer, also. < :-)

After nine days of largely unproductive talks

Unproductive? The police got to try out their nifty new pepper spray and beat the hell out of protesters while the Eurocrats had caviar and sushi at taxpayer expense. What more could you possibly hope for?

The earth goes through cycles. it cannot be helped. I would love to visit in 200 years from now to see how all the flooding messes things up.
