The trouble with Predator drone aircraft is that they're taking much too long to get the job done. It's like the old saying about gokiburi, if you squash one in your kitchen, there are 100 to go to his funeral.
The only reason Pakistan even matters is because they have nukes. Now it's all about making sure radical Islamists don't get a hold of them. Which means there will always have to be a US presence in the region to prevent this scenario. This is exactly why Islamic countries must never be allowed to have nuclear technology.

Which senario would this be then? Would it be the senario where nuclear weapons are used on a civilian population? Well thank the lord we have the Americans to prevent that from happening. (Heavy sarcasm)
You saying that I'm a brainwashed American has nothing to do with this and in itself is again an unintelligent and off topic comment. Don't know where you live but are you honestly afraid of nuclear weapons being used on you by the US? Do you think that's very realistic in today's world? You really don't think that the nuclear arsenal(s) that you (and other nationalities of the world) should be afraid of isn't the US' but other nations, like Pakistan or India? To point to the historical fact that the US used atomic weapons at the dawn of the nuclear age 64 years ago (and never since) as your basis for believing that the US is will readily do the same today is just plain irrational and shortsighted. You can villify the US and our military all you want but at least we have extremely tight security/safeguards over our nuclear aresenal and as a nation feel a moral obligation against actually using our nuclear weapons unlike the other nuclear-armed countries you're evidently NOT concerned with.

After all, the Taliban would rather be left alone so they could blow up people with impunity. It really sucks when you're the one being blown up.
