Of course its not surprising that Hillary would try to steal away Pledged delegates. After all, enough of the ones she counted on in her pocket have left her to go to Obama, so its obvious she would try to get some others back.
the problem for the delegates is; if they allow Hillary to woo them in contrast to the popular vote results in their constituencies, then they will face harsh reprisals when it comes to their reelections. And at that time, I doubt Hillary will remember their names, let alone support them.
And we can see that the Media (especially in the U.S.) is starting to smell blood on Hillary. she is getting caught up in or tripping over her own lies more often. the Bosnia lie is pretty huge, and that is probably the only reason why the lie about the comment to the NM Gov. was even put on the airwaves. If she hadn't messed up about Bosnia, no one would care what she said to who. But the media sharks have blood and until she can get her facts right, she's only going to keep drawing more attention to herself, in a negative way.
Notice how her double-digit lead has dropped. now, even if she wins PA, it won't be enough to upset Obama, because he will get half the vote and continue to lead her by the same amounts.
Unfortunately, its looking more and more like she's shoring up a leaky dike (the wall kind) with her finger. She isn't fixing it, and each time a new problem crops up, she finds it harder and harder to cover all the bases.
I won't say its a lost cause, because she has a way of pulling out nasty rabbits just before elections. But it certainly doesn't look good.
With all of the conflicts about the Super Delegates and the non-seating of delegates in the FLA and MICH primaries, one tends to forget the problems with FLA in the 2000 election.
The problems the Dems have, and I believe that will help McCain win the election is now people are seeing how people like Hillary have tried to maniuplate the machine to go in their favor. At the beginning when she was a shoo in, she did not care about wheter those two states would count, since she was expecting that by now she would have the nomination. Now that things are different they want the rules to be changed. All parties (Hil and Obama) agreed on the penalties for FLA and MICH if they moved their primary up. With the Super delegates, it was their way to make sure that even if the popular vote did not go their way, there was a way to circumvent the poplular vote in her favor by giving her the nomination, thus basically ignoring the poplular count.
The same people who were blaming Bush and the Republicans for stealing the election in 2000 have basically had their own plans to rig this one back fire on themselves. If you notice, unlike the last election in 2004 where there was still much discussion of the Republicans and their vote tampering in Fla and afterwards with Ohio, but I don't think you will see too much of that this time. The Dems created this mess on their own.
More and more Democrats now believe their candidate for president should be Al Gore, not Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. And today President Bush said "Well, if Al can run again, so can I!"
There was an artilce in this past Sunday's Honolulu Newspaper on "Barry" (as he was called when he lived over there growing up) and how his grandmother was described as a tough boss (she was one of the first female Branch managers and senior loan officers for Bank of Hawaii), but she was fair towards all races. She was a pretty well respected lady and the people interviewed did not find her to habor many of the racail sentiments that were present on the island then. So a guy who can throw his own grandmother under the bus for a vote is not a guy I would want to be my president.
You are correct. The name is listed in his High School yearbook.
What's more, By the time he was in high school "Barry" was using drugs so heavily and so frequently his classmates nicknamed him “Choom Gang” (Hawaiian slang for “pot smoking”, also listed in his yearbook).
"Barry" is an admitted dope smoker. Last time I checked pot possession is illegal in America (as it should be). "Barry" should be doing time be in jail for breaking U.S. law instead of running for president.

Ahh Anything-to-Win strategies. Gotta love them.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama at a joint news conference:
HC: Hi, I'm Hillary Clinton, the next president of the United States.
Obama: Hold on there, HC, I believe I have more votes than you.
HC: Votes don't matter, it's all about Super Delegates.
Obama: Ignoring the primary voter doesn't seem democratic to me. The person with the most votes should win.
HC: The person with the most votes loses. Ask Al Gore.

U.S. democrats have a real hard choice to make.
Do they want hillary the fabricator or barack, who's grandmother is a typical white woman, to be their candidate in the upcomming election.
