In other "hillbilly news", marriage licenses are issued in Kentucky...

Lying to congress and the people she wants to represent.

Perjury.

Having classified information on non-classified systems.

Poor decision making.

Thinking that rules do not apply to her.

Yep - she's ready to run as a Democrat for President.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

I voted for Bill twice. But her excuses are wearing pretty thin. If the Democrats had ANYBODY to replace her (No, Bernie and Uncle Joe are not serious replacements), she'd be toast.

If the Republicans were not throwing every nut-job whacko an invitation to run (and when Rand Paul starts to look reasonable by comparison, you know you're in the twilight zone), the Democrats would be toast as well.

Hillary's luck may finally turn.....

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Clinton said. “I didn’t really stop and think what kind of email system will there be?”

Obviously this sort of decision would be made by The Office of the Secretary of State as part of an on going communications security standards and practices.

Clinton has always had the opportunity to relieve this matter. It is simply impossible for The Secretary of State to have the technical knowledge on servers and VPN. Those specialties are almost always part of standard operating procedures.

In the interview, Clinton said, as she has in the past, that she “should have had two accounts, one for personal and one for work-related.”

Voters are probably already tired of the three year journey that lead to some 150 email out of 65000 were sent improperly as their contents were retro-actively reclassified. Shocking. GOP-Tea-ers sure like punching on Madame Clinton.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Madam Clinton's credibility is severely compromised to say it subtlety.

"Nut job" (as some claim) Ben Carson says Hillary winning the nomination is a gift. He is absolutely correct as a brilliant man he is. I would love to see Hillary in an opposition debate, her struggle will prove to all her incompetence which many have seen for decades.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Lying to congress and the people she wants to represent.

It's the fault of the GOP!

Perjury.

It's the fault of the GOP!

Having classified information on non-classified systems.

Ask Uma!

Poor decision making.

What difference does it make!!!!

Thinking that rules do not apply to her.

What difference does it make!!!!

Yep - she's ready to run as a Democrat for President.

ROFL, I think so too.

Obviously this sort of decision would be made by The Office of the Secretary of State as part of an on going communications security standards and practices.

Riiiight.....

Clinton has always had the opportunity to relieve this matter.

But she didn't.

It is simply impossible for The Secretary of State to have the technical knowledge on servers and VPN. Those specialties are almost always part of standard operating procedures.

You are right, she doesn't that is why she pays professionals to do all that for her. Her problem is, that when asked, she doesn't know how to professionally lie. That's her conundrum.

In the interview, Clinton said, as she has in the past, that she “should have had two accounts, one for personal and one for work-related.”

Yeah, but she was evasive when asked WHY does she have her own PERSONAL SERVER, still evasive answers.

Voters are probably already tired of the three year journey that lead to some 150 email out of 65000 were sent improperly as their contents were retro-actively reclassified. Shocking. GOP-Tea-ers sure like punching on Madame Clinton.

The pants suit woman gave the emails, SHE wanted to give NOT the mails that the FBI originally wanted. You libs are funny, I had NO idea the FBI was working for the GOP or the DOJ! ROFLMAO! Hillary dug her own grave and now she's marinating in her own stewed juices, she is almost tender and very done!

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

Voters are probably already tired of the three year journey that lead to some 150 email out of 65000 were sent improperly as their contents were retro-actively reclassified.

lol. Can't be repeated enough. I dare you to argue we wouldn't hear about it If a candidate from the other side were being investigated by an FBI A team for extremely serious espionage allegations and appeared to have committed multiple obstruction of justice felonies as head of a federal agency.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

lol. Can't be repeated enough. I dare you to argue we wouldn't hear about it If a candidate from the other side were being investigated by an FBI A team for extremely serious espionage allegations and appeared to have committed multiple obstruction of justice felonies as head of a federal agency.

If the other side were in this situation, they wouldn't even be in the race anymore, let alone walking about in public. You'd never hear the end of it, NEVER. We still talk about Watergate, but Lewinsky....only in jokes. Double standard? Yup!

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Outrageous! Double standards! Send your complaints to jeb@jeb.org - the private account with which, as governor, Jeb conducted official, political and personal business, including plans to woo new businesses to the state, judicial appointments and military matters! (This time period included 9/11 - and remember, the pilot terrorists attended flight school in Florida.) Sure, he "says" that he "provided" to the government "up to 50%" of his "correspondence", we'll never really "know," now, will we?

Fortunately for the GOP, Jeb remains a second-tier candidate, far behind front-runners Trump and Carson, so this won't necessarily become a problem for them unless, inexplicably, Bush finds himself in the lead and under scrutiny.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Marked, unmarked, sanitized...still the classified contents are there, and why Hillary did not report them to authority? Apparently, the State dept.'s IT was not informed about her private server, and how many of her peoples without security clearances had accesses to those info., and that is the serious violation against national security law. Classified materials initiated by different dept., how they moved from State dept. to her server unmarked? Allegedly speaking, if Chinese or Russian hacked her server and black mailing Hillary, what will be the result? No one is above the law regarding "is is is". Hillary lies to the world, thus avoiding taking full responsibility so far. Obama's presidential pardon might be coming!

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

One wonders what would have been found in the 30,000 emails she deleted and destroyed.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Bgood - please. This "scandal" will prove to be less productive for the GOP than Benghazi!©, and not only because no laws were broken but because, as mentioned above, many GOP leaders are "guilty" of the same conduct. Attempting to inflame this scenario will only come back to bite the GOP. I'd vastly prefer time be spent on issues. Read this for a bit of background:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/as-governor-jeb-bush-used-e-mail-to-discuss-security-troop-movements/2015/03/14/0d7fae16-ca49-11e4-b2a1-bed1aaea2816_story.html

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Hillary started to admit gradually when her back is against the wall, and more to come- stay tune. Washington Post, N.Y Times. NBC,CBS, ABC CNN,... have served The Clintons well. They are recruiting more "minions" as usual: LOL. If not Obama, Hillary's email and home brewing private server might shed more lights of the severity of national security.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

I would, hope that as a president, she would take the time to "stop and think" about things. I was a Hillary supporter back in 2007, and preferred her over Obama (and still do), but I won't support her next year.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I doubt that's true, it seems it was planned very thoroughly.

Why the 'mea culpa'? Are usually-compliant media not covering for her this time? Even Biden's considering a run!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Hillary looks good in orange. That prison jumpsuit will suit her. She will be released in time though to challenge for the Presidency. In 2020.... Against Kanye.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Apparently she paid the private staffer $5,000 on the side to maintain the server, according to today's headlines.

So that raises the questions:

Did she give the staffer a 1099 form, declaring the transfer?

Did he declare it on his taxes?

What happened to the backups? It's unlikely he went that long without making backups. How were they secured?

How about backups made by the server company that took over after the staffer?
1 ( +1 / -0 )

Come on Hillary, you were the secretary of state for the united states of America. Your husband was a former president of the untied states and you don't understand the rules or the system ???

2 ( +3 / -1 )

We need a good alternative to really challenge her. One will probably come along in the next few months, I want options.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

I doubt that's true, it seems it was planned very thoroughly.

True. You don't end up on the same email network as the Clinton Foundation on a server run by an ex-presidential adviser by accident. Not giving it much consideration would have been a better option if that means using the government set up that is ready to go from day one. This was obviously thought through very thoroughly and did it anyway.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Are you serious? You liberals are that desperate? I know lobs and Dems are dirty, but digging deep and scrapping at the bottom of the barrel, that's a real new low.

Fortunately for the GOP, Jeb remains a second-tier candidate, far behind front-runners Trump and Carson, so this won't necessarily become a problem for them unless, inexplicably, Bush finds himself in the lead and under scrutiny.

Maybe, but he left with an almost 80% favorable approval rating and throughout, he was a great governor, hey, his record speaks for itself, most politicians dream of leaving office with a high approval rating.

This "scandal" will prove to be less productive for the GOP than Benghazi!©, and not only because no laws were broken but because, as mentioned above, many GOP leaders are "guilty" of the same conduct.

Forget the GOP! For the Dems, her candidacy is pretty much finished. She already has a 57% unfavorability record and it gets worse when you talk about the trust issue. Why do you think Biden is mulling about getting into the race?

Attempting to inflame this scenario will only come back to bite the GOP.

Not this time. This was her own doing and the best part is, Obama watched her fall on the sword.

I'd vastly prefer time be spent on issues. Read this for a bit of background

I agree.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

I can't believe the ignorance I read here. She's being investigated by the FBI. This is a non partisan investigation. She's in deep hot water. Pay no attention to what Clinton says, proven liars, read the facts. She has already violated and compromised classified info. She won't be the nominee even though I'd love to see that she won't make it.

As SuperLib says the Dems need alternatives! It seems the party put all their eggs in one basket. A fatal mistake.

The current #2 Bernie Sanders is a bit extreem, Greece anyone? Biden is not taken very seriously. Keep digging, it happened in 2008 somehow.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

I can't believe the ignorance I read here. She's being investigated by the FBI.

Why are you shocked???? Liberals live in that smokey parallel universe they call reality. To them, having personal government emails is a small thing. The same goes for having a SERVER which NO ONE else has, but remember, they are devoid from facts and big on what they want to believe.

This is a non partisan investigation.

YES! If you are a rational non-partisan, that is how you will look at this situation objectively.

She's in deep hot water.

That's an understatement. She's so deep, even a submersible couldn't reach her and that brings a huge problem to the Dems. What are they going to do? Dump Hillary for Biden, cut their losses or continue and support Hillary and take a chance? This is EVERY Democrats and Liberals nightmare.

Pay no attention to what Clinton says, proven liars, read the facts.

Even if you are not a political person, anyone can see, she's not truly genuine or even sincere and likable.

She has already violated and compromised classified info. She won't be the nominee even though I'd love to see that she won't make it.

Two of her former staffs Cheryl Mills who will testify (BEHIND closed doors) and Bryan Pagliano (who will invoke his Fifth Ammendment Right) but why the lack of transparency?? If everyone is innocent, they should be open and honest, if the trust of the people means that much to Hillary.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

"We need a good alternative to really challenge her. One will probably come along in the next few months"

Good luck with that.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She's being investigated by the FBI.

Ha ha! - Nope. As the NYT put it:

Law enforcement officials have said that Mrs. Clinton, who is seeking the 2016 Democratic nomination for president, is not a target of the investigation, and she has said there is no evidence that her account was hacked. There has also been no evidence that she broke the law, and many specialists believe the occasional appearance of classified information in her account was probably of marginal consequence.

Of course, open season on the Clintons is year-round. I'm a lukewarm Hillary supporter but a political junkie and old enough to remember the amount of GOP ammunition spent on the Clintons which mainly resulted in friendly-fire casualties (remember Newt?). A friendly warning: Just because the right-wing echo chamber has convinced themselves that they've FINALLY found the scandal that will bring down a Clinton does not mean that it will not end with the whimper that has been the fate of all their previous attempts. Overreach has become a hallmark of the GOP. Hillary remains, after all, by far the most scrutinized politician in America, meaning there are no longer any rocks to overturn - and this cannot be said of the GOP stable - even of Bush (Terri Schiavo, anyone?).

Prediction: this will end up hurting the GOP brand more than it will Hillary.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Can you imagine the mental energy that woman must expend on keeping track of all her lies? It's a wonder she's able to feed herself.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Hillary remains, after all, by far the most scrutinized politician in America.

Feels weird calling her a "politician."

Since she hasn't won an election since 2006.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

One big difference between the two lying Clintons is Bill was strait faced and lied. Hillary laughs and jokes about it like its just a slight misjudgement. She is a liar! Follow the recent history of this case. Diversion, denial, and deflection.

Just wait if the FBI releases Clinton foundation emails......

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Since she hasn't won an election since 2006.

Good point. In fact, wasn't that NY senatorial stint her only real experience as an elected official? My point stands, though: she's as vetted as one can get, while voters are still familiarizing themselves with the names of GOP candidates.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Ha ha! - Nope. As the NYT put it:

The FBI has begun a probe into whether foreign intelligence services compromised Hillary Clinton's e-mail server during and after her tenure as secretary of state, according to U.S. intelligence and Congressional officials.

http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2015-09-03/fbi-scours-clinton-server-for-evidence-of-spying

You were saying? The problem is, the NYT is and has always been a liberal or leaning heavily in favor of liberals and have a vested interest in getting another Democrat elected, no matter what.

Of course, open season on the Clintons is year-round.

And with good reason!

I'm a lukewarm Hillary supporter but a political junkie and old enough to remember the amount of GOP ammunition spent on the Clintons which mainly resulted in friendly-fire casualties (remember Newt?).

Whitewater, stealing the White House China, Monica, NOT killing OBL, pardoning of Mark Rich, bombimg of Kosovo (without UN approval) gee, other than that, nothing really scandalous with the Clinton's.

A friendly warning: Just because the right-wing echo chamber has convinced themselves that they've FINALLY found the scandal that will bring down a Clinton does not mean that it will not end with the whimper that has been the fate of all their previous attempts.

No, Clinton did that by her lonesome self, she's her own disastrous nightmare and it's only going to get worse.

Overreach has become a hallmark of the GOP. Hillary remains, after all, by far the most scrutinized politician in America, meaning there are no longer any rocks to overturn

They just need to overturn that server of hers.

and this cannot be said of the GOP stable - even of Bush (Terri Schiavo, anyone?).

Since when do Liberals care for life?

Prediction: this will end up hurting the GOP brand more than it will Hillary

Tell that to Trump and Carson who by the way are NOT part of the Washington political machine. ROFL

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

she's as vetted as one can get

She is a scoundrel. Her husband is a degenerate. Don't think there aren't more rocks to overturn - the GOP are saving their trump cards on her if she remains in the campaign into the new year.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

She might continue the race, she has a lot at stake and she's NOT impossible to beat and still quite formidable, she is though severely wounded and vulnerable. Having said that, it would take a miracle for her to pull this off, but I keep forgetting, Libs don't believe in miracles.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Gotta give the Rublicans credit - they can take nothings, and make them seem like big somethings. Benghazi, the email issue, much ado about nothing.

If I liked her that much, I'd find it a lot more disconcerting. I'm still rooting for Bernie though!

0 ( +1 / -1 )

What don't you get? It's not a party issue. The FBI initiated the investigation, they have found and are continuing to find security breeches and some still deny! The Clinton foundation emails are not part of the investigation and the Benghazi emails are not either. You may laugh just like Hillary but those two alone made public may sink her boat themselves.

Laugh away, it shows ignorance. Hillary laughs too and it shows party respect or lack of it.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Gotta give the Rublicans credit - they can take nothings, and make them seem like big somethings. Benghazi, the email issue, much ado about nothing.

Good lord, maybe you libs will wake up and realize that DOJ which is under Obama, chick appointed a special prosecutor also under the Obama admin. That with the FBI that are investigating this. The GOP are just watching the spectacle from the sidelines and watching Hillary tighten her on noose. Benghazi is the least of her worries, her numbers are falling faster than a roller coaster, she's unpopular and unlikable. If it's nothing, the investigation would be concluded, but it's not, but I guess in libs eyes....somehow it is.

If I liked her that much, I'd find it a lot more disconcerting. I'm still rooting for Bernie though!

Why ami not surprised. ROFL

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

MarkG: I can't believe the ignorance I read here. She's being investigated by the FBI.

The FBI is checking the security of the hard drives. They are not investigating her for a crime. We've been over this numerous times, enough for a person like you to understand the difference. But you keep coming here and misrepresenting the facts anyway.

Just wait if the FBI releases the Clinton Foundation emails....

Huh? The FBI is going to hack into a private account and release personal information? If what world would that be anything less than a major violation?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2015-09-03/fbi-scours-clinton-server-for-evidence-of-spying

If Hillary meant no one thought about encryption for the first few months it was in operation. that would be accurate. Because there is a good chance it was hacked, FBI spy hunters and cyber security experts have begun to “scour” the server for traces of espionage as part of a probe into whether it was compromised by foreign intelligence services.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Because there is a good chance it was hacked? And why would that be? Because you have some insight into the workings of the hard drive, or because she's a political figure whose email would potentially be hacked regardless of which server it is on?

She's going to be held to a standard that would need to be equal to or better than what the State Dept could have offered her. That's it. She could have servers 10 times as secure as government servers and still could get hacked. It's a part of the world we live in. It's important to make distinctions like that when you are reporting and based on what I'm seeing you just aren't getting that crucial information.

I said this would quickly become political and it's playing out just that way. The misrepresentation from the bubble is just getting started, and the minions are lining up to hand it out.

.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Because there is a good chance it was hacked?

That is based on Obama intel officials assessment plus all the private experts I've read or seen interviewed.

Obviously government systems are not invulnerable but the State Department would have its own IT security team along with Homeland Security, NSA data etc to monitor servers in real time for possible vulnerabilities and breaches ; the Clintons are basically left to marshal whatever intrusion detection they can manage on their own (not excluding armed guards and Secret Service protection according to Hillary lol).

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She could have had servers 1 times as secure as government servers, but she's got some guy who happened to be IT director of her campaign setting hers up, and later moved it to some family operation running their ISP servers out of their closet, so I kind of doubt she had "servers 10 times as secure as government servers", ever.

And at clintonemail.com!

If Russia wasn't all over that, Putin'll want to know the reason why.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She's going to be held to a standard that would need to be equal to or better than what the State Dept could have offered her. That's it. She could have servers 10 times as secure as government servers and still could get hacked. It's a part of the world we live in. It's important to make distinctions like that when you are reporting and based on what I'm seeing you just aren't getting that crucial information.

You sound like James Carville or worse Lanny Davis two of THE infamous Clinton protectors and I mean, it doesn't matter what the facts are, no matter how incriminating they are, they will spin and spin like salesmen to get you to NOT to believe the facts or your lying eyes.

I said this would quickly become political and it's playing out just that way. The misrepresentation from the bubble is just getting started, and the minions are lining up to hand it out.

Obama's minions? You also fail to realize in your blindness as most libs do, particularly the libs that support Hillary, this scandal goes way beyond the GOP, you guys need to get that through your thick heads. You have a Judas amongst you all that is the Obama admin. You really think Obama has Hillary's best interest at heart? You think he's so concerned for her in this situation? The man just subtly endorsed Biden to run! What does that tell you. Loretta Lynch could have been as nasty and as vile as Eric Holder, but she is really going after her. Hillary is NOT progressive enough to carry on his radical progressive ideology, he doesn't trust her and since 2008, there has always been bad blood between them. Even Biden's dying son urged his father to run because he thinks Biden values would be much better for the country than Clinton values. Obama could easily throw a bone her way and yet, the DOJ is marching right along and the FBI as well. Obama is completely silent on this. Again, I know you libs are desperately looking for a conservative bogeyman, but that bogeyman is coming from the Democratic party. Now to say that the GOP are not delighted by these daily revelations would be a lie, however that they are deep into this like Dems think, is ludicrous, but If Obama can offer Hillary on a stick and ease Biden in and have a Biden vs Sanders, Biden does have a far better chance at getting the Democratic nomination. Any scandal that hits a politician on the left or right is very damaging and Hillary is not going to recover from this and don't think for a moment if it were the reverse libs wouldn't be rejoicing, of course they would, silently, but they would. Welcome to the world of politics. Am I happy by this scandal? Oh, yeah and one of the reasons is that this could not happen to a more nicer person. The Clinton's a some of the most arrogant stuck-up, lying politicians I have ever known, they almost make Nixon look like an honest man. Throughout the last 25 years the Clinton's have lied their way through everything, at least Bill is slick and can move with ease to avoid any pitfalls. Hillary is not Bill and not that smart and Chelsea also seems to have her her mothers common sense. Look at all the polls, Hillary can't bounce back from that, because the leaks are not stopping and there are new revelations daily. Hillary is just not smart, what she did was the dumbest thing ever, that has nothing to do with the GOP, she is the one that lied about Benghazi, the emails, the server and everything else and like I said, Obama could have done something make a lot of this go away, but you don't hear a word from him. So please, try to show your anger and frustration to the Obama admin. as well, if you want to be truly fair and impartial.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Lizz: That is based on Obama intel officials assessment plus all the private experts I've read or seen interviewed.

And they have seen the FBI report before the FBI has even written it? Or are you confusing speculation with fact?

The FBI will be able to tell a lot about the server. Until they come out with their report you should understand that no one knows anything about being hacked or security, not even your sources. Anything they tell you is speculation and more than that, wishful thinking. The GOP desperately needs a scandal and you certainly are doing your part by misrepresenting.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Clinton: I didn't 'stop and think' about email system

Of course she didn't think about the implications of transmitting confidential diplomatic information over an unsecured private network. This women hasn't driven a car in 30 years. She is used to being catered to. She is used to taking millions from foreign governments so she can travel in private jets and stay in 5 star hotels all over the globe. As one of the worlds super rich elite she makes her own rules. Who else would have the gall to set up own her own IT department separate from her employer so that she can combine her government job with her money making business and her future election campaign. Her staff overlap from all three entities in a manner that allowed her to skirt restrictions that the State Department placed on her to avoid conflicts of interest. Hillary could care less about government secrets and silly government rules. She makes her own rules.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

So all you Republicans - how do you feel about Jeb having done the same thing as Hillary?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

And they have seen the FBI report before the FBI has even written it? Or are you confusing speculation with fact?

So you're insinuating you know more than the FBI? Or what they have in their possession as evidence? Yeah, maybe so, Obama thinks he knows more than his own senior Generals and Clinton thinks she knows more than any politician that ever existed. Why am I not surprised?

The FBI will be able to tell a lot about the server. Until they come out with their report you should understand that no one knows anything about being hacked or security, not even your sources.

Either way, Hillary is done.

Anything they tell you is speculation and more than that, wishful thinking. The GOP desperately needs a scandal and you certainly are doing your part by misrepresenting.

Either way, Hillary is done.

So all you Republicans - how do you feel about Jeb having done the same thing as Hillary?

When they find a SERVER in Jeb's presence and was purposely hiding it and worked as a Secretary of State, dealt with hundreds of dignitaries, lied, lied at every single turn, not accept responsibility, then we'll talk

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Next statement from Mrs. Clinton....

"I didn't stop to think about what will happen to the USA and the World if and when I - - - - - - - - - -."

Cannot be her "age" and in cannot be her "intelligence" ... then what is it?

The key to all this is... what her words and actions have wrought?

The key question is... what will her words and action bring?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The problem is, the Dems don't want and can't face reality that their love child Hillary is pretty much finished, even if the FBI and the DOJ find nothing. Hillary as a person and as a candidate is something the people absolutely don't want. She's dry, robotic, doesn't have a sense of humor, lies constantly, looks down on anyone that questions her ethics or integrity. She is totally tarnished.
