Hillary reminds me a lot of Nova Corp. Promising a whole lot that can't or won't be delivered. Anything to win strategy. This promise to throw 7 billion dollars a year to create jobs sounds like pie in the sky to me.

She pushed FOR NAFTA as telephone records from her time in office clearly showed. No one in any office at that time ever remembers her saying ANYTHING against it to anyone.

IMO: Even IF she were to try push for such a bill, it would go nowhere because she will likely be too abrasive, using "Shame on you" speeches won't win her support in congress. Also, big business isn't likely to just sit by and allow anyone to take away their silver spoons so easily. They will find loopholes in her plan, and still won't pay much in taxes, so the real source of the supposed $7 Billion will be the average Joe, paying higher taxes. and likely only those who support Hillary in June or November will get the money, even if they are also sending jobs overseas as well.

barack, America's modern day P.T. Barnum, is at it again.

His current TV ad running in the states, barack talks up his refusal to take money from lobbyists.

    But is that really true?

In nearly every speech, barack talks about his refusal to take lobbyist money. But his latest ad does not tell the full story about barack's relationship with lobbyists and special interests.

The new ad states: "Now, Barack Obama's the only candidate refusing their contributions because to really reform health care and finally give the middle class a break, we need to rein in special interests. They have not funded my campaign."

    Oh, really?

A Google search shows that barack has gotten:

$243,000 from employees of Sidley Austin. Its lobbying clients include Bayer, General Electric, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association:

barack has gotten $202,000 from employees of Skadden ARPS, the firm that lobbies for U.S. Steel and Verizon:

barack has gotten $87,000 from employees at Alston and Bird, the lobbying firm for Mylan Labs and AT&T:

barack has gotten $76,000 from employees of Greenberg Traurig, lobbyist for carmaker General Motors, gun maker Smith and Wesson and former employer of lobbyist Jack Abramoff, who was convicted of trying to bribe federal officials.

barack contribution records also show thousands coming from registered lobbyists, but they are lobbyists who work in state capitols and not Washington, D.C.

One of them is Harrisburg lobbyist Fred Clark, whose clients include student loan agency PHEAA, as well as Comcast and casino owner Mountaineer Gaming.

And barack has taken lots of campaign contributions from CEOs and others connected to companies that do lots of lobbying.

Unlike barack, his rival, hillary, the Lioness of Tulva, has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from registered lobbyists and freely admits it. She has defended lobbyists, saying they play a part in the U.S. political process.

Heh, barack is becoming more transparent every day.

hillary believes she is ENTITLED to be U.S. President and can't believe she is being beaten by barack, who's spent nearly half of his rookie term as U.S. senator running for president.

The clintonista machine will pull out all the dirt on barack and it will be the super delegates who will eventually choose her as the dem candidate, which will nearly guarantee Mr. McCain's victory (those who really want barack will snub the candidacy -- thinking their guy was robbed -- and will vote Republican).

So, I'm all for them to keep slugging it out until late August.
