Clinton`s steady hands are covered with the blood of the people of Libya, Honduras and other countries!

"Fox News not playing the speech by the muslim soldiers parents who died for America."

And that's what every person sitting out their falsified truthiness and outright lies in support of Trump and the hideous monster that calls itself the "Republican Party" thinks is clever and so peachy.

May Ms. Clinton lead the USA while listening to the better angels of her nature, and not the stupid, "pragmatic" ones.

0 ( +8 / -8 )

Clinton took the stage to roaring applause from flag-waving delegates on the final night of the Democratic convention, relishing her nomination as the first woman to lead a major U.S. political party.

What kind of Democracy is it, when the opposing candidate was robbed of votes by voters being swayed by the Democratic elites? Congratulations HRC.

When it looks like, sounds like, smells like it, you call it what is -Fascism. And if this comment gets deleted by the mods, they've just illustrated the point.

Bring on Sept. 26 and the first presidential candidate debate.

Game on. . .

-2 ( +7 / -9 )

“Violence is not the answer,” Dallas Sheriff Lupe Valdez said. “Yelling, screaming and calling each other names is not going to do it.”

And during her speech she called for a moment of silence on behalf of the slain Dallas officers who were assassinated. Yet, some very disrespectful people in the audience had the nerve to shout "BLM" during that moment of silence.

How disrespectful. That would've NEVER happened @Republican National Convention, Cleveland.

"Fox News not playing the speech by the muslim soldiers parents who died for America."

And yet Hillary was one of the main proponents of the war where these soldiers were killed. Poor Bush started the war based on intelligence gathered mostly during the Clinton years, and Bush's CIA chief was appointed by Clinton. For laughs, you can listen to Bill Clinton's 1998 speech where he implored for action against Saddam's weapons of mass destruction, and you can also listen to Hillary saying almost the same words when she lobbied for the war in Iraq on the senate floor. Bush was nothing but a party puppet, like his father before him, and he conveniently gets the blame for the war, and not those who pulled the strings.

Hillary's "steady hand" was on the wheel when America turned it's military into Iraq and Afghanistan.

Bring on Sept. 26 and the first presidential candidate debate.

This will be one of the most- watched debates of all time. It is hard to imagine how the queen of political correctness will do against a potty mouth. I can't wait. I wonder if we'll hear Trump say "Hillary Rotten Clinton" to her face? Hillary's staffers dare not smile, or even look her in the face when they pass by, lest they get a new hole chewed in their backsides.

But it's all irrelevant, Hillary is a lame-duck candidate, who was never expected by the powers-that-be in the party to win the election. These are already grooming Elizabeth Warren for 2020, why else did they let Warren speak at the conference? Why is her name in the news on a weekly basis? She is one of the least experienced and unproven of all their senators, who has neither sponsored nor written any legislation (much like our current president). But the powers-that-be think she is electable (more so than Hillary, but 2016 is too soon for her to run), so they are coaching her, prepping her, and writing moving speeches for her to read.

3 ( +11 / -8 )

@Sangetsu,

True dat. Like McCain and Romney before her, Mrs. Clinton is this election cycle's "it's my turn" candidate. The DNC is smart enough to bite the bullet and is already moving on to the 2020 campaign because they know America has had 25 years to get to know her and they know American voters don't like what they see in their candidate. . . .

-1 ( +8 / -9 )

Do those glasses you republicans wear come in different colors? Or just all kinds of red shades?

Its clear as day that there is only one candidate that should be voted for and its not the loudmouth, obnoxious, racist con artist.

1 ( +9 / -8 )

Nadaku said;

Its clear as day that there is only one candidate that should be voted for and its not the loudmouth, obnoxious, racist con artist.

Absolutely correct.

That's why everyone should vote for Trump. I have rarely read a more accurate portrayal of Hillary!

-7 ( +6 / -13 )

Its clear as day that there is only one candidate that should be voted for and its not the loudmouth, obnoxious, racist con artist.

But Trump closed out Ted and Kasich fair and squarely. The same CANNOT be said about HRC. Don't believe me?

Look at the chaos on the streets of Philadelphia. The city of brotherly love, turned into hate fest -courtesy of crooked Democrat politicians.

That's why everyone should vote for Trump. I have rarely read a more accurate portrayal of Hillary!

Amen! Than you. We will, we will. I am not with her. I am against her.

-5 ( +7 / -12 )

She hit it out of the park!

1 ( +8 / -7 )

I have no doubt Clinton will steadily make the world more dangerous should she become president.

You could be right. With Trump on the other hand, it would be not so much steadily as precipitously.

0 ( +8 / -8 )

"I have no doubt Clinton will steadily make the world more dangerous should she become president."

Possibly. She is a hawk. On the other hand, Trump is capable of destabilizing the planet quicker than you can whoop and driving civilised society off the cliff.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

My ears deceived me during Hillary's speech. They chanted, "USA, USA, USA." They even waved lots of American flags.

Uh-Hmm . . . but when Trump supporters do this kind of activity -all of a sudden it's considered "hate" or "racism." Incredible.

-6 ( +6 / -12 )

"My ears deceived me during Hillary's speech. They chanted, "USA, USA, USA." They even waved lots of American flags.

Uh-Hmm . . . but when Trump supporters do this kind of activity -all of a sudden it's considered "hate" or "racism." Incredible"

What's your obsession with people chanting and waving flags ? You do realise that elitists like Trump and Clinton regard this kind of bahaviour as moronic and these people as morons?

I had more respect for my Jack Russell puppies who learned to sit on command and not crap on my mother's carpet.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

They chanted, "USA, USA, USA." They even waved lots of American flags.

Uh-Hmm . . . but when Trump supporters do this kind of activity -all of a sudden it's considered "hate" or "racism."

It isn't 'hate' or 'racism'. (Can you find a single example of anyone saying that chanting "USA, USA, USA" and/or waving American flags is either hate or racism?

Didn't think so.

What it is considered, whichever side is doing it, is mindless. Jimizo's word is moron, that works too.

Then folk come here and call the Japanese 'sheeple'. Pots and kettles.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

What's your obsession with people chanting and waving flags ?

Nothing. I just want some accountability. If they do it, its all good. But if people wearing cowboy boots, hats, large belt buckles and red/ white/ blue attire. . . suddenly & conveniently its now "racism."

I had more respect for my Jack Russell puppies who learned to sit on command and not crap on my mother's carpet.

Good for them. So ur in your 40's and STILL live with ur mum?

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

Something that will always amaze me about US politics is the (imo too) prominent place of the candidate's relatives in the campaign.

Did we really need to hear Chelsea's 'my mum's the best!' speech? Do US voters care about that or is just part of the show? ( same with DT's wife). All this sounds fake, unprofessional and childish and is imo completely irrelevant. For whatever reason I didn't feel that with Michelle Obama but she is a special woman no doubt.

Bernie looked pretty uncomfortable when Hillary 'thanked' him. That was my highlight of the night. felt for him.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Bernie looked pretty uncomfortable when Hillary 'thanked' him. That was my highlight of the night. felt for him.

Darn right he did. He's just spawned a new political revolution though. The millennials WON'T forget this election. Mark my words.

Did we really need to hear Chelsea's 'my mum's the best!' speech? Do US voters care about that or is just part of the show?

A little of both. By seeing their kids speak, they can see the politicians as mothers, fathers. Paints another picture for voters. On the other hand, we like a show. Extravagance, flamboyancy, entertainment ie; K. Perry.

Then folk come here and call the Japanese 'sheeple'. Pots and kettles.

Sheeple, the silent majority. In America we do not have this problem, and we're better for it. Politics in Japan is a cesspool compared to the innovative process americans experience.

0 ( +7 / -7 )

“I get it that some people just don’t know what to make of me.”

Conscious people get it; she's utterly untrustworthy.

0 ( +7 / -7 )

This is the failure of the two party system. So who is the lesser of two _____? Personally, voting Clinton in just gives the bankers, corporations and wall street a green light. An extension of Obama. On the other hand Trump, again, a direct result of the failure of a two party good ole boy system. Some believe Trump is there to help facilitate a Clinton victory. Is that true? Who knows... If Clinton does win, it will be an indication that the presidency resembles more of a dynasty than anything else. Cause at the end of the day, the membersof the two party system are all buddy buddy behind closed doors.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

"Sheeple, the silent majority. In America we do not have this problem, and we're better for it. Politics in Japan is a cesspool compared to the innovative process americans experience."

Even if that's true, they have the same result - atrocious turnout rates at elections. It seems your innovative process can't get about half the population to bother voting.

I've heard people say they are sick of politicians treating them like they are idiots. Haven't you heard "Do these people think I was born yesterday?". To be honest, I can't really blame politicians for looking down on the electorate when they see morons chanting and waving flags or dressing up like an idiot after listening to Rhinestone Cowboy.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Sheeple, the silent majority. In America we do not have this problem, and we're better for it. Politics in Japan is a cesspool compared to the innovative process americans experience.

lol The only difference I see is that one set of lemmings proceeds in a quiet, orderly maner to jump off the cliff with a modicum of decorum, while the other set Yee-hahs and waves their stripey flags behind them as they take a running jump over the edge.

The result is the same.

Except that the leader chosen by the noisy, raucous lemmings has his/her finger on The Button, and that's scary.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

Cause at the end of the day, the membersof the two party system are all buddy buddy behind closed doors.

Not really. During the last few years a Republican congress gave (tried to give) hell to the administration and vice versa.

Will Sander's supporters buddy up w (D)? No way in hell.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Ah, yes window dressing.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Stop nd think about it. What did Hilary try to do during her husband's tenure as president. Try to start a war? Lobby for deregulation? She tried to develop a new health care plan. Wrong congress. I remember the republicans saying they ould offer an alternative to her plan instead. How many years ago was that? And remember this. Whoever walks into the oval office, especially cold, has to sit down with all kinds of built in staff that will have a bias toward their own agenda. Like the military. It has to be brutal to cut through all that when you come in.

Obama rejects Trump's depiction of U.S. in crisis

Clinton promises steady hand in dangerous world

2 confused & conflicting statements. Yet the former endorsed the latter. So which is? Deny crisis in America or keep a steady hand in a dangerous US / world?

Two more police officers were shot in San Diego, CA. Circumstances unknown. . . based on the turmoil, lawlessness and political climate in the USA, I'm willing to suggest BLM had an impact on the trigger puller. Yet again, posters will blame Trump or the NRA. Never religion nor ideology. Incredible ~~

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Mr. Trump may not have been my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth choice GOP candidate, but I prefer him over his Democratic opponent who has shown herself to be a congenital liar.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Clinton's hands are stained with blood and corruption. They are far from steady.

2 ( +7 / -5 )

And during her speech she called for a moment of silence on behalf of the slain Dallas officers who were assassinated. Yet, some very disrespectful people in the audience had the nerve to shout "BLM" during that moment of silence

Sorry? I watched her whole speech. Where in it did she ask for a moment of silence for anything?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

"Promising Americans a steady hand"

In other words, basically no change, just more of Obama with less style and more lies.

Sorry, the majority of voters want change this election, and by golly we'll get it.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

Luckily the military bigwigs know that Trump is a loose cannon. Hillary will romp it in. She has the African-American vote, the Hispanic vote, the female vote (well, the vast majority anyway), the military vote, and the intelligent people vote.

The liberals and the MSM are not going to talk about it, NO WAY and rain on their parade?? Funny, liberals didn't say anything in the last 4 days about radical Islam or address the issues of gangs, Black on Black violence, our crumbling infrastructure, the National debt, nothing. sure, the Woodstock fest was breathtaking, loved to see Perry and Lenny, but after that, short on substance, the woman is out of her element as speaker, she's not a great orator as her husband or Obama for that matter, she's not even funny, must've taken a lot of effort and sheer will power to put on a smile like that for a few hours. Give her props though.

I just watched the Clinton speech. Let's be honest, she is a bloody awful speaker. Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama were top drawer. Hillary's speech was like listening to Neil Young sing after listening to Marvin Gaye*.

*Marvin Gaye was a supremely gifted vocalist and songwriter. He was a black man who wrote songs about things like environmental problems, the horror of war and racism among other things. I just wasn't sure if some Trump supporters would get the reference.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

"She has the African-American vote, the Hispanic vote, the female vote (well, the vast majority anyway), the military vote, and the intelligent people vote."

OK, she does have the vast majority of the black vote, as every Democrat candidate has had since forever, but you'll be surprised how many Hispanics, women, and military people go with Trump. About "the intelligent people vote"... are you saying blacks, Hipanics, women and military people aren't intelligent? I'm laughing at the superior intellect, serendipitious.

And what's up with one in five American families without a single family member working, and one in six American males 18-34 either out of work or in prison? Why hasn't Obama fixed that? He saved that for Hillary to fix?

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Would some foreign nation please hack Donald Trump's tax returns and provide them to the American people?

Just being 'sarcastic.'

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Maybe you should ask yourself what created this unemployment, violence, etc in the first place ...If Obama cant fix the Bush disaster in 8 years, then nobody can. Really Obama needed more time.... in short, Bush did decades of damage in just 8 years. Impressive, not in a good way. Dont believe me? check it out...

"Hillary is so crooked, Caligula would be blushing. She makes L.B. Johnson look like an honest man."

It's pretty comical that the Republicans see Johnson as a standard of dishonesty when they have Richard Nixon on the books.

Incidentally, Nixon left office with the lowest approval ratings of any postwar US president. He was closely followed by another Republican, George W Bush. If Trump gets in, I'll predict he'll be out with approval ratings even lower than these Republican bottom feeders.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Her "steady hand" as, secretary of state is one reason why the world is on fire. Hillary orchestrated the, Arab spring wars. She toppled governments and installed terror groups as new government, she left vacuums of power filled by more terrorists and the two unintended consequences of her steady hand are girls, and women being enslaved and traded in a slave industry she opened the, way for and the vast waves of insurgents committing violence and rape across Europe and terrorism going global as an army. This is what she, has already done, only fools, want more of that

0 ( +6 / -6 )

“A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons.”

Actually if we believe a barking dog seldom bite, it is far better to have Trump than Hillary.

Trump is a Known Commodity. He don't go around spreading half truth and outright lies.

Hillary on the other hand is a Known Serial Liar. One can be assured she will support TPP if she ever become POTUS. The most telling sign is Obama will be doing a lot of campaigning for her to save his own TPP legacy and Clinton will reward him by backstabbing her supporters who are deceived into thinking she is against TPP.

Grandma Hillary is the most likely person to start a Nuclear War with Russia or China simply because she is a Power Mad Woman who believe in American Hegemony at all cost. Under her watch, she will go down the slippery slope by Taking Advice from neocons and 'can do' generals who resort to Tactical Nukes like at least three times US generals advised former US presidents in the Korean War, Sino India Border War, Vietnam War.

Hillary like to hang out with macho men and she despise weak 'peacenik' military people. She have a very bad temperament hidden under her deceptive smile as was exposed by former Secret Service agents. She is not presidential material and she will feel a need to top Margaret Thatcher, Golda Meir to show she got the 'right stuff' and this means 'lets try a tactical nuke' and see how it works. There goes the Beginning of WWIII under Hillary who like Trump will let Personal Feelings override National Interest. Petty, vengeful traits make Hillary unfit for POTUS job. Be Forewarned, Hillary = Danger To Global Peace!

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

f Trump gets in, I'll predict he'll be out with approval ratings even lower than these Republican bottom feeders.

What do you care? You're not American. So you've lived in TX for a while. No biggy. If republicans are "bottom feeders" what does that say about crooked Democrats??

What have we (USA) have become when candidates are robbed of positive influence and millions of potential +votes?? America, robbed of votes. Robbed of leadership. . . . Way to go Democrats (Loud applause & laughter) . . . . way 2 friggn' GO!!

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

“Donald Trump, you are asking Americans to trust you with their future,” Khan said. “Let me ask you, have you even read the United States Constitution? I will gladly lend you my copy.”

I'd bet dollars to donuts that Trump would score very poorly on an exam that tests his knowledge of the US Constitution. What would he care about the US's founding principles; Trump has his own -- and if you cornered him, he would assert that his own principles were superior. Very bigly so.

One of the great speeches of the night was given by Reverend William Barber II. Nothing short of amazing. No modern Republican speaker could come close to giving anything like it.

I just watched the Clinton speech. Let's be honest, she is a bloody awful speaker.

I agree. She pales by comparison to the others you mentioned. In my opinion, that's because she has yet to connect with her genuine voice. I don't know who is coaching her, or if she will allow herself to be coached. I really believe she has the ability to connect much better, and, if she can find a way to use the momentum of all that hate that comes her way -- ju jitsu style -- against itself, her coalition will build tremendously. I believe one of the keys to that lies in the Barber address. If you haven't seen it, watch it carefully.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

"What do you care? You're not American. So you've lived in TX for a while. No biggy. If republicans are "bottom feeders" what does that say about crooked Democrats??"

The US is the most powerful country in the world ( chant, whoop, dress up as a cowboy, drape yourself in a flag or whatever ) and who is in charge affects the lives of many. The last time a Republican was in office, he embroiled my country in a disgusting bloidbath in Iraq and saw the world economy nearly go off the cliff on his watch. I see Trump as even more dangerous than the cross-eyed, semi-literate, bible-thumping rich kid who destroyed America's reputation.

I wish you could keep these clowns within your borders. If you could, vote for Cletus with his bible, flag and assault weapon and I wouldn't care less.

Point taken! I could have worded that better. Let me put it this way: anyone who votes for Hillary this time round is intelligent (when Trump is the only other option).

"Luckily the military bigwigs know that Trump is a loose cannon. She has the African-American vote, the Hispanic vote, the female vote (well, the vast majority anyway), the military vote, and the intelligent people vote."

Trump is actually harmless as a fly. He got too many children and properties vulnerable to being attacked. He won't risk it all. Hillary on the other hand have fewer assets to protect and they are all on the State side, so she may feel daring enough to Go Radical.

The military bigwigs knows how to put Fear into Trump and he is Sober Enough not to press the Red Button. Hillary on the other hand is very temperamental and will easily Flip and allow a Tactical Nuke test drive. This will end in disaster for America and the world.

Ah, the Blacks! Clinton courting them thinking they are fools. They used to be easily misled but no more. All Trump got to do is to tell them to remember NAFTA. TPP will be NAFTA 2.0 taking away their jobs and Hillary will sell out Blacks and all other blue collar workers to serve her higher agenda of US hegemony. 'President of the Greatest Country In The World' It feel so good to be the First Woman POTUS Of The Greatest Country In the world, a modern day female Genghis Khan or Alexander The Great. Charge forward! ... and she will lead America and the world into the ditch, like G W Bush!

Another swoon article dictated by the DNC.

However, this time it just might backfire.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Another swoon article dictated by the DNC.

Right after the Republican convention Japan Today published a story about white supremacists who had nothing to do with the goings on in Cleveland. Now right after the Dem convention it's a love fest and not a word about the protests by black nationalists and Communists and the waving of Soviet and Mexican flags outside the 10 foot wall built around the event (an event by the way that was financed by every large banking outfit on Wall Street) This double standard hasn't gone unnoticed and it's why so many people are upset and willing to support a guy like Trump. Many more American's on both sides of the political divide have come to understand that the fix is in and they are not happy about it.

President Bill Clinton watched from a seat on the convention floor, beaming with pride and repeatedly leaping to his feet.

It's instructive that Japan Today publishes the notion that Bill Clinton was all energetic when it is well known that he was caught nodding off during Hillary's speech. What is most amazing is that Bill could doze off with the horrid sound of Hillary's voice filling the arena. He must have turned down his hearing aid.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Right after the Republican convention Japan Today published a story about white supremacists who had nothing to do with the goings on in Cleveland.

The story is titled "Energized white supremacists cheer Trump convention message" and portrayed the white supremacists who cheered the Trump convention message from inside the convention. And you are trying to assert they had "nothing to do" with what happened in Cleveland? Too funny.

and not a word about the protests by black nationalists and Communists and the waving of Soviet and Mexican flags outside the 10 foot wall

It would seem to me that they were where they belonged: outside the wall.

his double standard hasn't gone unnoticed...

You mean that the Republicans would allow white supremacists inside their convention and the Democrats kept radicals out is a double-standard? Yes, I understand how one with such a warped viewpoint could easily cause one to vote Trump. He thrives on this kind of lunacy.

Clinton promises steady hand in dangerous world

Well that's funny. The world became steadily much more dangerous when she was State Secretary. She had a hand in that.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Incidentally, Nixon left office with the lowest approval ratings of any postwar US president. He was closely followed by another Republican, George W Bush. If Trump gets in, I'll predict he'll be out with approval ratings even lower than these Republican bottom feeders.

I doubt it. Clinton still has some of the highest negatives of any presidential candidate and Trump as well, but factor in Clinton is popular with her base only pretty much as is Trump, in other words, they cancel each out. It's the independents that will decide the election, NOT the Democrats and NOT the Republicans and right now the independents are leaning more to Trump and Jim, please don't worry. Americans can make the decisions, it's a US election and not the UN election either way, it's up to use, if Americans choose Trump, they want the country to go in a different direction, if they choose Hillary, they want the same of what we have been having over the last 8 years and prefer mediocrity.

What, a two-month old article that doesn't exactly make things look great for Trump either?

What are you talking about. Trump is still leading by a few percentage points. Again, don't think that what happened at the DNC is a sure win for Hillary, it was as gathering at the DNC to officially nominate Hillary, outside, what MOST of the MSM didn't cover was all the chaos and protests that were going on and many of the Bernie supporters trying to crash the event. 40% of Bernie supporters say they will never vote for Hillary, this is a huge problem and add to that, Trump and Hillary are too close neck and neck and that worries the DNC and it should.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

'Cause we Dems put on a kick ass Convention that smashed his Worriers and Whiners Show and has us all fired up and ready to go.

Ohh . . . you mean the rigged convention?? How blind are you?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

bass4funkJUL. 30, 2016 - 06:41AM JST

What are you talking about. Trump is still leading by a few percentage points.

Well, let's see. Here's what the article actually says...

According to results from the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Election Tracking Poll conducted online from May 16 through May 22, Americans are nearly split when given a choice between Trump and Clinton. Clinton currently leads Trump by 4 points (47 percent to 43 percent) among registered voters; this margin is nearly unchanged from last week's results.

Nearly six in 10 Americans said they either "dislike" or "hate" Clinton, while slightly more — 63 percent — expressed negative opinions about Trump. Four in 10 voters said they "admire" or "like" Clinton, and 36 percent said they "admire" or "like" Trump.

Trump is still leading? Really? He wasn't leading in any of the polls in that article, except among white men, and more recent polls are showing Clinton as being 5 points ahead. Nothing in that article backs up the notion that "the majority of voters want change this election, and by golly we'll get it." So what are you talking about? Do you even know?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Obama says Hillary is the most qualified candidate for president ever. Well after him, anyone is more qualified.

After the RNC Trump got a 5 point boost and after Hillary, she got about the same, which is normal, it's to be expected, let's see how things will go from here. And yes, the majority of voters in the fly over states DO want to a change, a big change and I'm not talking about the coastal liberal States. I know libs are being spoon fed that Hillary is the most honest person in the world, but in the real world where reality persists, it's a different story.
