Obama only has himself to blame. He has no ability to lead his own party and pass legislation. They have majorities in both houses, they should be able to pass whatever they want.

MrUSA I suggest you try reading the article. Its about blocked appointments, which is a method politicians use to sabotage administrations. Its the Republicans' turn and they are showing how little regard they have for America and her elected president. They have a major case of sour grapes.

It's embarrassing to see such ignorance on display. In ordinary times, a party only needs a basic majority to pass legislation. Because of the Republicans' unprecendented use of the filibuster, nearly everything -- no matter how trivial -- has to be passed with 60 votes.
