So it looks like Gowdy will double down and that the investigation will wander far away from Benghazi and off into winger phantasias of the Clintons.

She claimed that “security requests didn’t rise to her level" That’s hard to believe since there were over 600 requests for additional security. That is not a response you'd like to hear from a person campaigning for the presidency. It's a very poor excuse. Is this what you want in a leader - especially a president?

During the 2008 primary campaign Hillary ran TV ads portraying a 3am emergency phone call to the White House depicting an emergency somewhere in the world and it asked the question, “who do you want answering that call, Hillary or Obama?” Frankly, neither one of them.

Btw, the mail to Chelsea blaming it on a terrorist group was not out of line with the information being released to the public. A terrorist group linked to Al Qaeda had claimed responsibility on social media that day but soon after withdrew the claim. The situation in the immediate aftermath of the attack was very confused and fluid with the available "facts" changing rapidly.

So in the hearing it was revealed that Clinton sent an email to her daughter telling her that an Al Qaeda affiliated group planned and carried out the attack. She communicated with the Libyan foreign minister and agreed that the killings were the result of a planned terrorists attack. Four days later she stood in front of the caskets of the four dead Americans and their families and lied saying the attack was motivated by a spontaneous attack over a year old video. As if demonstrators carry around RPG's and heavy machine guns. Weeks later Obama stood in front of the UN and lied telling the world that his re-election campaign message that Al Qaeda was on the run was still in true - despite all of the information to the contrary that the Obama administration was hiding from the public. Sure four people under their responsibility are dead due to the fact that they ignored literally hundreds of pleas for improved security. But hey - he got re-elected, what difference - at this point - does it make?

But if you think Hillary is on track because she's getting more fundraisers, then you really don't understand how politics and campaigning works, she was going to have donors regardless of what happened, problem was, should they go to her or Bernie...just in case. Had she'd gone down, either Bernie or Biden would have gotten all the donors, but Biden is not running and it seems (at least for now) that Hillary looks ok to go....for now.
