Sez - "Perhaps good Democrats will be willing to open their hearts and pocketbooks to send cash to Hillary"

You mean dumb Democrats? Hee hee!

I keep hearing these rumors that Hillary and Obama aren't getting along too well...

  • SezWho2 at 10:06 AM JST - 28th June

No, Sarge, I mean good Democrats, loyal Democrats who believe in their party. This is not much different than speaking about good, loyal Republicans who have stuck with their party despite the mismanagement and bungling of the current administration. If it's "dumb" you say, that's a slipper that fits on either foot.

There is no reason why Hillary and Obama should get along except to beat McCain. Obama might not need her help to do that but he does need her and husband Bill to get out of the way.

No, dumb politicians. After serving only one year in government, US politicians are welcomed to a $15,000 a month pension and they don't have to pay taxes on it. 90% of those in government are millionaires. She raised the money herself, then got her campaign in debt, she is NOT in debt in the slightest. Let her do the usual thing, get lobby money (she is the top receiver of medical funds), pass a law where she makes money (Whitewater). Don't be stupid and give this witch a penny!

    skipthesong,

She may not be in debt, but she's our $10M and she wants it back.

Furthermore, who elects the dumb politicians? It couldn't be a smart electorate, doing the same thing over and over, hoping this time it will be different. Could it?

Sen. Clinton is a formidable politician. You would think that she would be able to ask her constituents to offset the debt. She is still an influential Senator of a major state, and in a position to do things.

  • skipthesong at 03:56 PM JST - 28th June

She is still an influential Senator of a major state" A state of which she isn't even from. Just went there and jump on an open election. Goes to show, she is what you would call a real politician. She knows exactly what you want to hear.

sez: I don't really get your point. But, if you are insinuating that the method in which one is elected is old and needs to be changed, I agree. I would have liked to have had a "none of the above". I would also like all elections to go back to the good old days when one man one vote.

So, she is out 10Million, maybe she should have stopped a long time ago instead of wasting people's time with an election she should have known she couldn't have won. She was going against Obama, that's kind of like a kid going against Mike Tyson.

“To anyone who voted for me and is now considering not voting or voting for Senator McCain, I strongly urge you to reconsider,” she said.

Good idea. I'm not going to vote for ANYONE because what's the point? Neither of the two candidates now are going to do anything to change things.

  • nisegaijin at 05:47 PM JST - 28th June

Yeah, get that commie as head of your government! US is gonna go into depression. He will need another war to get out!

Oh well. I will just sit back and see my gold score 10000 per ounce

  • adaydream at 05:51 PM JST - 28th June

Well, I'm glad Hillary's being seen with Obama. She just helping to solidity the party. We will heal and vote as one. < :-)

  • SezWho2 at 06:21 PM JST - 28th June

    skipthesong,

My point is that, contrary to what Sarge says, it is not "dumb Democrats" who would contribute to Clinton. It is loyal Democrats who are worried about party unity.

I believe the way it worked was this: I said "good Democrats". Sarge said "dumb Democrats". I said that if this were the case, loyalty was not a phenomenon of the Democratic party and what we had would have to have is a "dumb electorate". You said "No, dumb politicians", which to me puts it back on the people who elect them.

That we need a revised system was not my point, but it is one that I will happily agree to. As to your suggestion that she should have stopped before loaning out $10M, I agree. If she couldn't bring her campaign in within budget, she has no business overseeing taxpayer money. And the State of New York might want to think about that, too.

Obama is paying off her debts. Hillary knows a thing or two about keeping the deadbeat men in her life in line. She didn't get to where she did on her looks, her creepy cackle, and her harridan voice.

  • Zurg at 07:53 PM JST - 28th June

    It's the MONEY, Man!

Who paid her to get out of the race?

Who is paying her to support him?

What man has his testicles in a lock box?

  • WilliB at 10:48 PM JST - 28th June

That was so easy to predict. The ridiculous roadshow is over, and the "dream team" comes together as expected. Only question is who is on top.

  • SushiSake3 at 10:53 PM JST - 28th June

RedMeat - "She didn't get to where she did on her looks, her creepy cackle, and her harridan voice."

Heh, you're terrified of Hillary and she's not even running ROFL!!!

  • adaydream at 02:33 PM JST - 29th June

I'm glad Hillary didn't get the democratic nod. She's a hell of a politician and fights for her people and the country. But just like posters here and Bill Clintons administration, the republicans are just to eager to attack her. < :-)
