There is a FAT difference between giving women access and labeling them an "untapped resource". They are not going to flood the job market and entrepreneurial slots for gaining access. And a campaign to get them to will mean far less intensive child rearing, leading to a lower birthrate, even worse obesity, and dumber kids. But that is exactly what the short-term profiteer mindset will do by coaxing more women to focus on careers than motherhood.

Access and equality are great and fine. Some women will shine brightly with those. But to think it applies to large numbers of women is pie in the sky, wide-eyed dreaming. To think the best environment for kids is to have both parents working outside the home is madness. This should be accomodated, but not encouraged.

Women are paid less so companies can grow richer and families can rely on mothers spending more time at work.

Manufacturing is the key to economic growth and prosperity.

Of course, the American approach to "prosperity" of maxing out every credit card you have, is an absolute failure.
