As China's population grows and we see some pretty amazing statistics (ie 300 million viewers for a TV show), but we also are starting to see some pretty high death rates for accidents as well. Mining accidents seem to kill quite a few Chinese each year...
hey hey now. it is obvious that these stories about deaths in Chinese mines and nightclubs are only xenophobic exaggerations by the Japanese press to draw focus away from the rice scandal.

Like I said now that the Olympics are over China is going back to being it's normal (unsafe) self again.

I believe 50 years from now, China's mining operations will have improved to the point where no one dies in a mining accident all year.
