These attacks are all because of the stupid religions that create a hierarchy of one over the other. When will people wake up and realize that the greatest religion is Love and Humanity. Brainwashed religious fanatics have no clue about the religion that is mentioned in their scriptures but instead get caught up in their own mind. These humans are no better than animals and actually worse. They will not receive a human body next time since they have abandoned their true Self.

Don't be so naive. If it wasn't religion, it would be tribes. Africa hasn't embraced the beloved concepts of multiculturalism and diversity. More important, the Western concept of the rule of law. So the chop-chop will continue until recolonialization.

The tribes in Africa got on alright until we screwed it all up centuries ago. The Africans were a proud people, warriors, not layabouts living under corrupt leaders waiting for their nex handout,

No, I think it's fair to put the blame on religion once again.

Arab traders saw Africa as a source of slaves for centuries. Other peoples came and saw poverty and disease and early death. Some saw a possibility of offering help and hope for the future, and religions came in on the back of this. The thousands of tribes there were all different but yes, many would have been stoic and proud; others not so. There was huge internecine strife and often racism amongst many tribes. Some of the newcomers were do-gooders, others came to live and farm and some were up to no good.

Assigning blame does not really help the situation in Nigeria.

@ "Arab traders"--so that's who was covertly running the big plantations from Brazil to the Mason-Dixon line, fighting against the Union in America's bloodiest war. I must really need to review what I learned about history if "Arab traders" is all it takes to understand slavery.

TorafusuTorasan, the Atlantic slave trading triangle was a terrible thing, but it came much later and was thankfully abolished in due course.

Is Obama going to just stand by and watch this slaughter?

Is Obama the Nigerian president? What is it with you guys on the extreme right?

Is it because he's black he should do something? Is it some racial angle from the White Old man party, or just plain obsession with the man?

Why do the nuts on the left, always scream racism? Is a good question. Was a good question about Libya, about Syria, and now about Nigeria. And why do people ask it? Because he is the President of the United States. If GWB was still President, people would be asking the very same question. To my friends on the left, give up your racist obsession.

It was a question, not an accusation, molenir. I was going to ask why on earth you would label me a leftist, but then I guess everyone is a leftist to you.
