the freak show continues. Latoya said he was murdered.

I think Jackson probably took some other meds and didn't tell the doc so when the doc gave him more he was giving him a fatal dose because he can't tell what the patient did on his own.

I agree bushlover. The was messed up and the doctor probably had no idea all the drugs he was on.

But the propofol is normally only administered before surgery under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, because patients frequently stop breathing during its use. Forget about all the other drugs being used, he should never have been given the propofol in that situation. I am sure the doctor was paid a lot to do it. Unfortunately, his greed led to Jackson's death. Doctors are supposed to take an oath which states "first, do no harm". It seems this doctor took a different oath "first, get much cash".

He was paid $100,000 a month = Jackson's live in Dr.
You also need to remember Jackson had some injuries and was most likely in some amount of pain.

I read earlier that the Doctor was paid USD 150k/month

Whacko Jacko paid this guy $150k a month, to give him whatever drugs he wanted. Now all of a sudden its murder ? Impossible to prove since Whacko is DEAD and its the family's word (which should count for nothing) against the doctor's.

So it seems that it wasn't nedessarily the propofol alone but the fact that it was front loaded with other drugs. I can't see that this is a homocide but it certainly was malpractice. Administering anesthesia for insomnia is about as "off label" as you can get with a prescription drug. The doctor also should have had some clue that with all the other pills he had given before the propofol that Jackson may very well not wake up. Sad all the way around. Michael Jackson was truly a great entertainer and will be missed by millions. I wish he had the chance to make his comeback with the concerts rather than by dying. It's a shame that no one could tell him no and save him from himself.

Michael Jackson took "eccentric" to new heights but 1) he didn't deserve to be murdered, 2) he doesn't deserve this media circus and 3) he has got to be spinning in his grave over the idea of a reality show with his family.
The one thing I give him credit for is keeping his children as hidden as he did.

The profile of the typical Propofol abuser reveals they are anesthesiologists, which is something about Jackson's doctor that needs investigating.Propofol abusers also seem to have suffered childhood trauma, often of a sexual nature. They report having trouble sleeping, and they want to block out the world.

I think Michael the twit should be awarded a Darwin for his fine performance of self destruction.

Dr. Murray had a contract with Jackson to be paid 150K per month for the upcoming tour but had yet to receive a single penny from Jacksons promoters who were to foot the bill. I am sure he unwittingly killed the goose with the golden egg. hardly a case for homicide charges. malpractice maybe, scapegoat? definitely.
