Saw some video footage of this and it was incredibly powerful.
Fijians tend to be pretty laid back people, but I guess this will have them up and about and wondering how to withstand another of these if it ever comes. Gambarray, and good luck! :8)

177 mph winds is very strong but if that is the strongest winds they ever had in the southern hemisphere since recorded time, then I think they are pretty luck all things considered. Here in the northern hemisphere, there have been hurricanes and typhoons with winds exceeding 200 mph. Still, wishing you all a speedy recovery. Stay safe!
