Considering the Putin telescreens already claim all of NATO is in the battle, yeah we better start arming the Kiev side.

US military armament may prove once and for all whether Eastern troops use weapons and ammunition supplies left behind by Ukraine miltary, in a couple ways:

1) If Eastern troops ever ends up using US arms left behind, and

2) if US giving Ukraine higher level weapons make Russia also give Eastern troops counteracting higher level weapons that Ukraine military never had and therefore cannot have left behind.

So such a development could finally put a light on this issue.

Russia has acknowledged that some of its citizens are fighting among the rebels as volunteers, but rejects the Ukrainian and Western charge that it’s backing the insurgency with troops and weapons. Western experts say, however, that the sheer amount of heavy weapons under rebel control shows extensive help from Moscow.

Russia denies it, but Eastern troops don't. At least Eastern troops are being honest.

Let's not play with this fire when we have no means of putting it out once it catches on our pants.

Addition to all its existing foreign policy mistakes, the US administration now tries to start WW3 by messing in Russian affairs. Insanity!

I don't know a solution. My next door neighbours are from Ukraine and I worry for their family still there. This feels like Vietnam all over again. Russia == China;

If we don't help, Russia will eventually take over the entire country, which isn't good for anyone. If we don't provide advisers and equipment, Russia will overpower the locals.

If we do help in a way similar to Afghanistan ... well, that didn't turn out well either.

I don't have any answers. The good people of Ukraine will be in my thoughts and hopes for a quick resolution that doesn't leave their country in a dictatorship.

One little question - what are their nationality ?? - they are Russian or Ukrainian ? Not all population of Ukraine has the same nationality

At the south-east of Ukraine living about 10 millions of Russian and they worry about Kiev nationalistic governement

Yeh - in Ukraine Russian represent national minority - but they exist

Please - stop calling all population of Ukraine - Ukrainian

If we don't help, Russia will eventually take over the entire country, which isn't good for anyone. If we don't provide advisers and equipment, Russia will overpower the locals.

Ukraine today is a third world country with huge debts and without natural resourses

Why Russian Federation should take over this failed state ?

To what purpose ? Feed them ?

Just stop believing in this fairy - tales about "locals" attacked by bad Russians.

Russian demand was very simpe - stop killing Russian in Ukraine !

It is not entire country of Ukraine with 100 % Ukrainian population attacked by crazy Putin it is country where ethnic clashes took place

And where "Ukrainian governement " represent only one side of inner conflict - Ukrainian nationality not Russian

So Kiev should accept simple fact - if Kiev - it's a capitl of Ukrainian nationalists - they should forget about

areas with Russian population - that's all
