Good, with or without the republicans.
That's how they made it illegal to buy Rx across borders.
How they passed the Rx Drug Plan.
How the republicans gave away $4Trillion to 1% of rich.
Wouldn't bother me in the least. Republicans can either join the effort or sit back and watch it happen. <:-)

I love it when the people doing the distortion, misrepresentation and quite frankly, outright lies, claim that pointing out their lies, distortions, and fabrications are the problem. Somehow it makes me laugh.

Well, let's all hope that none if models off the VA system. If it does, nothing that was considered a scare tactic would be a lie. Of course differently.
aday: "Wouldn't bother me in the least. Republicans can either join the effort or sit back and watch it happen." So, tell me, how did you feel, really, when O said several items thought of by the Repukes were good ideas? I hope that little pacemaker didn't go off....

Democrats have had enough votes for months now.Quit trying to blame Repubs and do something.Over 100 speeches from Obama in six months .People are getting tired of all the face time. Tuesday he talks to your kid via TV at school.Wednesday he is on air primetime addressing Congress for the second time in 6 months,Sunday he will appear on 60 minutes, and Monday he goes on TV again to try and tell people he and his advisors have fixed the economy.

The sad fact is that the Republicans have become so inured to telling lies that they can't tell what the truth is any more.

"The sad fact is that the Republicans have become so inured to telling lies that they can't tell what the truth is any more." says yabits.
What the repubs say is immaterial.Democrats have enough votes to ram the bill through. What is stopping them?

You mean you don't believe that the Democrats won't force the bill through if and when it comes to that?

More trying to turn the facts around. It must be sad to be you Yabits when you think everyone who believes differently then you must be lying. If someone dares to point out the obvious lies by the Dems, they become liars or racists or both. Truly a sad commentary on the Democrat party.

If .... and the key word is "if" .... the reason they believe something different is because one or more of their supporting claims is provably false, then they are duping themselves. If they then try to push their flawed views as fact, they can not be telling others the truth.
As it is with health care, and any other issue, liberals start with the premise and motivation that we should try to achieve what is best and fair for most if not all. That is definitely not the motivation of a lot of the conservatives.
The conservative belief is that complete deregulation, the profit motive, and the free market will get the most people the best health care. Well, we've seen what that philosophy has done to the banking and finance industries, as well as health care. I hate to break this to you: it ain't working and never has.
