"voters are also hearing from Priorities USA, a super political action committee financed by millions of dollars from Clinton’s staunchest supporters. The goal of those ads: cast Trump as a con-man and bully unprepared to be commander in chief." - article

As offered months ago, Trump's Achilles' heel is his mouth, and he's run that right off the cliff. Most Americans are sick of the tired self promotion and Trump has nothing to offer to paper over his endless gaffs and assaults on race, reason and religion.

Hillary has an ongoing criminal investigation and WikiLeaks says they have new Hillary documents --all that campaign cash probably can not save her.

I have always been a Republican and I hate Hillary Clinton. But Trump is a freaking idiot and the Republican Party has only themselves to blame for letting this freak show get this far, not being able to present a Republican candidate who could actually lead this country. So I guess I'm going to be seeing another "historic" election.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

I remember people saying that if the US had another terrorist attack during the elections, people would flock to Trump. But Trump provided no real leadership at all, just doubled down on the old, faded "suggestions" while congratulating himself on being right.

Clinton is smart, knowledgeable and as tough as a coffin nail. She is VERY liberal in most regards, unless you measure her on the Bernie Scale. I think she will make a wonderful president.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

Is she honest? Does she have the nations best interest as priority? Do the ME donors have influence on her? What about the banking system, is she in their back pocket? Will Bill further disgrace the Oval Office? Who will the be VP pick? Oprah says it's about time for a woman, is that a viable reason to vote for Hillary?

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Hillary's ads have collection of teal help she did in past.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

It will be fun to see Obama, Clinton, Biden, Sanders, Warren, and a host of others going after Trump. If I were in Donald's camp I'd focus on anger management. He sometimes gets in trouble for inappropriate responses.

Two liars running ... who to choose?

The loudmouth with "New York" sensibilities or the soon-to-be indited criminal?

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Interesting how he refers to the GOP as "the Republicans" rather than "our party" or some other phrase which would denote emotional commitment. His phrasing regarding fundraising also seems to contain implicit threats which, I'm sure, or not lost to the people in charge. This is going to be one frigid RNC convention - maybe they can get Elsie to host.

Conventional wisdom had this guy dead out of the gate. This is going to a fascinating election.

Both candidates are as pathetic as I've ever seen. But someone will win. At least that's how elections have worked up till now.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Clinton is the most experienced, most highly qualified candidate to run for US president in a generation, while Trump is the least psychologically candidate to run suited since Ted Cruz ended his campaign.

Kasich, who had signed a pledge to back the Republican nominee, recently told MSNBC he “just can’t do it” unless Trump makes some significant changes.

Don't matter. This buffoon only won 1 state. ONE state! No wonder why he's pissed.

“When I saw Donald Trump mock someone with a disability, it showed me his soul. It showed me his heart,” says the father of a young girl with spina bifida

(That was friggn' hilarious) Serge Kovaleski deserves to get mocked for defending the cheering muslims of 9/11. . . you JUST know some of them were cheering. If not in public, them prob in the privacy of their own homes.

Wonder how this father thinks about obama's "Lipstick on a pig" comment? Bashing women is just as bad as bashing persons w/ disabilities. Right?

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

CrazyJoe: She is VERY liberal in most regards, unless you measure her on the Bernie Scale. I think she will make a wonderful president.

Nice words. I personally think she's tough as nails to get through what the GOP has thrown at her over the years. She'll be able to hold her own against world leaders.

Serge Kovaleski deserves to get mocked for defending the cheering muslims of 9/11. . . you JUST know some of them were cheering. If not in public, them prob in the privacy of their own homes.

It must be comforting to know that other Republicans and Trump supporters on JT won't call you out on any of this stuff.

I'm sure some wouldn't agree. Do all obama supporters agree with his "Lipstick on a pig" comment? --probably.

It may well matter because it's Ohio but it probably won't matter because Clinton will win by a landslide. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to have a reality check.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to have a reality check.

Your prob right. But the irony in your statement has already been exposed. Heh- 10 months ago "somebody" else might have mentioned that I (other Trump supporters) need a reality check if I thought Trump would be the nominee.

because Clinton will win by a landslide

She hobbled to the finish line there for a minute. She'll prob be cleared by the FBI. She's already got the Black, Hispanic and Catholic vote. Yeah, her chances are good.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

A new young Barack came along snatched the crown from her head. Liberals, please careful what you wish for.

Well said. Now watch, if Hillary is elected and people start getting frustrated after about a year, they'll be wishing they'd voted in Bernie Sanders. Take your medicine.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Loath as I am to say it, I have to agree with OssanAmerica. I know many intelligent and thoughtful Republicans, and much as I'm philosophically opposed to most of their ideas, they deserve a better representative than this man. I'm concerned that they will be devastated in the upcoming election and given the ability of Trump to alienate everyone except the 30second grab demographic it will take a long time for the party to recover. A strong opposition is necessary for a healthy democracy, and whatever the question, Trump is not the answer.

Point taken. The fact that Trump has become the presumptive GOP nominee is amazing/scary/very scary in itself but that shock will jolt enough people to their senses. The US, based on its electoral system, has selected the two people they think are best for the job of POTUS. It just so happens that one of them is so unsuited to the job and he will be trumped.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

It just so happens that one of them is so unsuited to the job and he will be trumped.

And I see ur point too kind sir. But it just so happens (however unsuited) voters voted for him. He won fair n' square from state to state. It was exactly how President Obama said it would be, "Hunger Games."

Trump has become the presumptive GOP nominee is amazing/scary/very scary in itself but that shock will jolt enough people to their senses.

Good comment here, because sometimes you need to shake things up from the norm in politics. It's kind of a healthy thing. And sometimes its good to hear about our problems like illegal immigration, crime, radical islam and guns without being so pc about it.

I'm tired of the libs and obama pushing for the whole pc and "tolerance" thing on everyone. We should be telling the truth, not sticking our head in the sand.

Hillary Clinton and her Democratic allies have invested at least $27 million in commercials . . . . a series of summer broadsides against her Republican opponent.

But, but, but ..... U.S. leftists yammer on and on about how Mrs. Bill Clinton is leading Mr. Trump by double digits in opinion poll after opinion poll. What's the point in wasting money needlessly? She ought to suspend campaigning altogether yesterday because the MSM (aka the DNC Super Pac) are talking until they're blue in the face that this election will be a cake walk for the democrats' ovarian candidate. . . .

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

It will be fun to see Obama, Clinton, Biden, Sanders, Warren, and a host of others going after Trump

Trump does have the FBI, CIA and Director of National Intelligence on his side, though, also claiming the ISIS is attempting to smuggle terrorists into this country under the guise of refugees, which is a pretty powerful ace in the hole.

All warning of danger and breaking with Obama’s claim that the Muslim threat is contained:

CIA Director John Brennan told Congress on Thursday that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, remains “formidable” and “resilient,” is training and attempting to deploy operatives for further attacks on the West and will rely more on guerrilla-style tactics to compensate for its territorial losses in the Middle East.

The disconnect here is staggering. Obama and Clinton want to speed up immigration, especially for Syrian refugees, Donald Trump says that is dangerous–and he is right–and Trump is an object of derision among the so-called political elite?

This summarizes our problem in a nutshell.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

"Hillary Clinton and her Democratic allies have invested at least $27 million in commercials"

Is that all? lol It won't be enough,

"Democrats see an opportunity not only to retain the White House but make a strong play for winning control of the Senate and adding scores of Democrats to the House."

Unfortunately for them they don't see that is possible only if they nominate Sanders at their convention.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Both candidates have a big problem - both have historically high unfavorability ratings for presidential candidates

Hillary has a 55% unfavorability rating, while Trump has a 70% unfavorability rating

Even Obama has better unfavorability rating of 43% (with 55% favorable, meaning he's above water)

while both presidential candidates are underwater

What to look for if the article is true.

It is not the name calling or the so called "lies" that we must look, listen and feel for, but what facts they reveal and what facts and truths they "hide".

In communication, especially in politics and during elections, it is not a "debate" but "misinform", "misstate", "misdirect", and ever other "mis-" you can name in communication.

I hope you can without "presumptions", "predictions" and every other "pre-" in opinions can see through the "facade", "the smokescreen" and any other forms of "deception".

In communication it is often what is not in the rhetoric, action, or words, but what was "not said" and what was "not done", the silence and the inaction or the slow response or the quick response that often tell the real truth.

We all know exactly how that works. I am sure we all know exactly how that is done. I am sure we have all done exactly that and may still be doing them.

After all communication controls "life" as we know it. And the key is in the "use of information" .

Hillary has grandson now. If Hillary is elected, she will be oldest PR. in history. If Trump is elected, he will be oldest PR in history.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Expanding his team w/ an improved ground game in swing states, better response to things like Clinton's foreign policy speech and May's abysmal jobs report instead of getting personal with judges and Warren, focus on Hillary, and good ads could easily turn things around.

"For example, in critically important Ohio, where the state GOP backed Gov. John Kasich’s failed presidential campaign, party officials have been unwilling to throw much support behind Trump." - article

Mr. Donald J. Trump has a clear and present track record of complaint, conspiracy and confidence scheme's that taint his beautiful world of blaming everyone except Donald J. Trump.

While he burns through any level of decency and makes mockery of Principle and Patriotism, Monsieur Trump finds a never ending gold mine of quotes, sources and video documentation of his campaign.

Mr. Donald J. Trump may have thought his Campaign was another test of the patience and stupidity of the American People.

Sadly Mr. Trump's show has been canceled.

Oh! What ever will Rince do?

Keel haul the Republican Party under the party barge of hate?

Clever, that should work, or will it? (insert maniacal laughter here)

lol Well that is too bad for them because Trump is still even or ahead of Clinton in Ohio as he is in most battleground states.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Trump is making the US look so ridiculous, that what he's doing almost seems treasonous, maybe his supporters are inherently that type

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Y'all need to watch H.A. Goodman's video "Hillary Clinton is more dangerous than Donald Trump. America needs Bernie Sanders." on Youtube. I think he may be right.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Serrano, I'm not going to watch the video, but I'm curious what there gist was about how America needs Bernie? I like him, I just think we can't afford Bernie right now until the hegomonic cabal is delt with and kicked out of power. Bernie won't do this IMO.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

@anotherexpat,

She has done nothing for low income people, jobs, LGBT, national security etc. and is a thug. Really? The most qualified?

Clinton should be careful as there is much much more on her than on Trump. The liberal media is out in full force with their Trump hit pieces. Just look at how they are not reporting anything on Clinton. Heck! JT has about 15 Trump articles and not one on Clinton. Talk about lopsided.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Clinton should be careful as there is much much more on her than on Trump.

Nope. Benghazi has been ruled to be a right-wing PC talking point, and insiders in the FBI are now reporting that it's doubtful she will face any charges on the email server.

JT has about 15 Trump articles and not one on Clinton. Talk about lopsided.

Or an accurate reflection of reality.

@Strangerland,

She can get away with murder. Shes a Democrat. Theres plenty on her. Her entire campaign is a contradiction.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

She can get away with murder. Shes a Democrat. Theres plenty on her. Her entire campaign is a contradiction.

Trump can get away with murder. He's a republican. There's plenty on him. His entire campaign is a racist debacle.

See how empty my post is? See how I can just spout a bunch of words that don't mean anything whatsoever? See how my words just yours with a different name swapped out?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

@Strangerland,

Yeah I see. And to sit and type away denying Clinton isnt a thug tells me a lot more. Trump racist? more left wing blanket statements never any specific facts. Just hes racist, xenophobic, bigot etc.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

And to sit and type away denying Clinton isnt a thug tells me a lot more. Trump racist? more left wing blanket statements never any specific facts. Just hes racist, xenophobic, bigot etc.

Yep, it's as equally empty as claiming that there is plenty on Hillary, and that her entire campaign is a contradiction and benghazi and blah blah blah.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Stranger... go to theweek.com and check out Ryan Cooper's article "The Case Against Hillary Clinton." You may be surprised.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I've read a few of these right-wing Hillary 'tell alls'. They are grasping at best.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Or, Stranger, maybe you are denying the truth about Hillary, at best.

Check out H.A. Goodman's "The Number One Reason Hillary Clinton Will Be Indicted Under The Espionage Act" on Youtube. Is it really all just a bunch of made-up Hillary mud-slinging? I don't think so.
