The final 60-vote hurdle, limiting debate on the bill itself, is expected to be cleared Wednesday afternoon, setting up the Thursday morning-before-Christmas vote on the legislation, which at that point will need only a simple majority to pass.

This is the important thing at this point. After the 60 vote hurtle tomorrow afternoon, Thursday is a simple majority. 51 votes will do it. Not 60, only 51.

I thought I'd never see this health care bill go through. < :-)

The democrats will own the Barack Hussein Obama Memorial Healthcare Scam just like they own the current ecomony meltdown via porkulus maximius.

    Heckuvajob, democrats.

    Politely taking a bow.

    We're awfully proud of this.

RomeoRamenII, we are as passionate about this health care bill as the war hawks were about getting into Iraq. The difference is we're not fabricating evidence. < :-)

adaydream, do you really believe Obama when he says this bill will reduce the deficit?

    adaydream

If I had only heard Obama say it I might possibly have my doubts, but we have the CBO vet this bill and they agree.

Now do I believe that we will have the total dollars saved at the end of 10 years, I'm not sure. But I do know the facts, everyone entitled to purchase health care insurance, etc. And the benefits that will be used and the lives saved, I'm not going to worry about a few $Billion. < :-)

HEALTH CARE REFORM conforms to: "Psycho-Politics-Address on Health Care and Control." by LP Beria at Lenin University (Says only Faith Healing through the Bible can stop control of the people through health care.) AND

HEALTH CARE REFORM also conforms to "45 Communist Goals For the Take Over of America." (control of courts, media, education, medical fields.) This bribing of states is the same thing they are doing in the Climate Change debate to get them to sign over their authority over their nations to allow the government in the decisions. This is why God was against gathering of nations. Psalm 1 and 2, II Chronicles 16:7-9, II Chronicles 20:35-37, Leviticus 26, Isaiah 8:9-14, Isaiah 30:1-7 Insurance is counter productive. It works against God's law: "That which you sow, you shall reap." It requires that you receive a sickness etc.for which the insurance will pay. It forces people to help others and makes enemies instead of close friends. It also pays huge salaries etc for administration costs for those who scramble papers around and decide who gets how much. It brings confusion and hatred for the government like the IRS program. President Obama's Health Care Reform is like his Climate Change agreement. People are still being pressured to sign onto a binding agreement that is not clearly formed and put into final words, with unknown details, with no time to consider updated text etc. Our people and nations are still being asked to authorize the United Nations or the US Government to oversee and override our decisions on climate change or health care and control our money. Climate Change is pushing for a binding deal for the next six weeks and those pushing Health Care Reform will not stop until they get their control.

Success in passing it, and success in getting any idiot stupid enough to vote for it tossed out of office. I'm taking great pleasure in reminding several co-workers, that this is the change they can believe in. Every one that I've talked to about it, is looking forward to voting against Obama in the next election. I can't remember talking to even one of my co-workers that actually supports this boondoggle. The Dems are gonna pass it, then they're gonna pay for it. Obama not excluded.

You haven't been paying attention to what they've said then. The quantity and magnitude of the lies spewed by the Dems to get this passed, far and away exceeds those done by the Bush administration. Considering the relative costs involved, the Iraq war is going to be cheap in comparison. Not only in actual money, but considering the lower quality of care, in actual lives as well.

Molenir what lies? Please list the lies. Not the republican fabrications like death panels and illegals will be using it. < :-)

Oh, you've bought into the Dem lies about illegals not being able to use it? How about how it won't fund abortions. How about how it won't raise taxes, cut medicare, how it will cut costs. Yep, all lies. How about the dis-ingenuity in making this go into effect after the 2012 election cycle. Heh, BHO sure as hell didn't want it in full effect before he tries to get re-elected. Not a lie there, nor are the bribes involved in passage, nevertheless, this stinks much worse then anything else in recent memory, and is going to cost far more then the Iraq war ever did.

How about how it won't fund abortions.

    It won't.

How about how it won't raise taxes

I don't remember anything about no new taxes.

    medicare

They will make cuts in waste and abuse. (Every agency can do this, civilian or government.)

There are a lot of it going into effect immediately. But you can't start a program like this over night and expect everything to take effect overnight. It'll take a couple of years to get the bill up and running full bore.

There were bribes. Every bill has bribes to get congressmen/women on board. If you don't think so you're fooling yourself.

this stinks much worse then anything else in recent memory, and is going to cost far more then the Iraq war ever did.

Then you forget how george bush attacked Iraq based entirely on lies. And cost, we're at a $Trillion almost now. And the over 4000 deaths. Right, throw that into the mix. That'll get you points in this debate.

You'll have to do better then this. < :-)

If lining the pockets of medical insurance companies and big pharma with taxpayers' money, then, yes, the Barack Hussein Memorial Healthcare Scam will be a huuuge success.

    adaydream

If filling the pockets of insurance companies and big pharmaceutical companies is what this whole bill is all about, then republican ought to love this bill.

I actually think the Hussein Memorial Healthcare Scam bill will be a gre-e-e-eat success and help many many people. < :-)

Under the Barack Hussein Obama Memorial Healthcare Scam, health insurance companies will have a bonanza in new customers. So, the one who'll benefit the most will be the fat cats at the insurance companies.

Incidentally, since the "public option" is off the table, check out and see how health insurance companies' stock prices have spiked upward.

    Heckuvajob, democrats.

All of whom strangely enough work for insurance comapanies.

    It won't.

lol, the Senate version allows federally funded abortions, so yes, it will.

I don't remember anything about no new taxes.

Ah, sorry, I was thinking of BHOs pledge of no new taxes on the middle class, you know, the ones who are getting slammed in this bill.

They will make cuts in waste and abuse. (Every agency can do this, civilian or government.)

Excuse me? They're creating how many new bureaucracies? Wanna try again. This is going to massively increase waste and abuse, no other way to look at it.

Then you forget how george bush attacked Iraq based entirely on lies. And cost, we're at a $Trillion almost now. And the over 4000 deaths. Right, throw that into the mix. That'll get you points in this debate.

And how much will this boondoggle cost? A heck of a lot more then a trillion dollars. Oh, and only 4000 deaths, how many people will die from lower quality or rationed care? I grant you, it will be hard to quantify, but its going to be a lot more then 4000.

Just because stocks go up means nothing. They lost so much in the recession that this is just regaining stock value. It has nothing to do with this bill.

lol, the Senate version allows federally funded abortions, so yes, it will.

That's one of the items Sen Nelson was so up in arms about. You can't get an abortion with money from this bill, period. You can't even get a subsidy and take that to an insurance company of your choice and get insurance that will pay for an abortion. < :-)

    Helter_Skelter

Obama said the Senate legislation accomplishes 95% of what he wanted on health care.

As if anyone really knows what's in this two thousand page tome.
