He was also great as the bad guy in Season 6 of 24.

When i heard this news it made me cry. I remeber him in that recent Gerge Romero zombie film where he portayed a horrid and beastly man who he based on Donald Rumsfeld.

Weird, I thought he was the big baddie in the first season?

RIP Dennis Hopper. "Cause you, you're part eggplant"

He obvioulsy had the same kind of prostate cancer as Frank Zapper did. It is rare to die from this cancer unless it is this particular one. Time to get a PSA test as the Saw Palmetto works well but may be an illusion to hide deeper troubles.

One of my favourite actors of all times. He was truly at his best in Blue Velvet. RIP, Dennis Hopper. You will be greatly missed, and always remembered.

Hopper's bravest act was coming out as a conservative in Hollywood.

    vastly overrated.

Nicholson and Hackman both called him one of the greatest actors they worked with. I guess they are wrong too eh? 2 time Oscar winner, also a talented director, writer and painter. overrated? gtf

    DenDon

    vastly overrated.

    quite incorrect.

DenDon, I guess you are a fan then? I don't care either way and so can look at his body of work objectively, and can therefore conclude: overrated.

where is the objectivity in going onto a website to disrespect someone who just died? someone you either don't understand or know little about.

RIP Billy! Freedom and no haircuts! You were great!

DenDon, Why do I need to know him? I am judging his work. Some people fawn over him like he was the greatest actor alive, and while he was a striking character and image, his work is adequate, not great and not crap, thus my statement that he is overrated.
