Given all his problems he lived a pretty long life. What shocked me the most about this article was Dana Plato's death. I had no idea.

Agreed Mist. Still what a sad way to go though, brain hemmorage is almost like having a heart attack in your skull. Sounds like he was getting his life and career back on track before he was hit by this. RIP Coleman...

HonestDictator: almost is not the term. A brain hemorrhage is when it's bleeding in your brain and/or skull, while a heart attack is a lack or a stop of blood circulation in coronary arteries.

MistWizard: I knew about it in the past, on some show about how fame ruined a lot of celebrity children/teens, but had forgotten.

Anyway, while the show ended quite a while back it's one of those shows that, if you watched it, would still come to mind from time to time. And of course, what would come to mind more than, "What'you talkin' 'bout, Willis," and perhaps Fuzzy-Wuzzy Moo Moo. Actually, I was just thinking about the show earlier this week for some reason: the episode where the limo driver borrows money from Arnold to bet on a horse race, but eventually couldn't do it (and thus gets a loan from Mr. Drummond without having any collateral).

RIP, Gary.

Loved this dude when I was a kid and Webster (E. Lewis).... I felt bad for the guy about 5 yrs ago when he took a job as a security guard.... He seemed pretty stressed out lately. RIP buddy... you made me laugh many times as a kid on Friday night.

Seems he was quite well-known in Japan too. Very sad to hear this news, though I was expecting it when I heard that he was rushed to hospital yesterday. The siblings in the show all seemed to have had bad luck - and coincidentally, Plato's surviving son committed suicide this month. I guess his mother's premature death really affected him. But Bridges, at least, seems to be back on the right track.

I grew up watching the show and now and again watch the old episodes on Youtube - love the season 5 episodes with nemesis, Lisa. It was a kind of show which was aimed at children but you never really got all the jokes until you were a bit older. I got the DVDs for the first two seasons and I wish they'd hurry up and release the others. It's been years since the release of season 2.

I loved that show. It was a big part of my Saturday night's viewing at the time. Very sorry to hear about all the troubles in his personal life (and Dana Plato for that matter) as he gave me enormous pleasure during my teens. He certainly deserved more.
