He's on his way out the door on his last regada.

    He's done a hell of a job. < :-)

Amazing stuff - I've been through this first hand and the doctors manage incredible feats. Hope he manages to beat it.

"After completing treatment, I look forward to returning to the United States Senate and to doing everything I can to help elect Barack Obama as our next president,” Kennedy said is a statement issued before the surgery."

A True American Patriot. Not like this terrorist-hugging Republican bunch.

sushisake, that was completely inappropriate. While I don't agree with most of Kennedy's policies at least he has a brain to operate on.

For the record, susisake3, Big Ted isn't exactly feared by Republicans.

This is the fixer who helped get Dukakis nominated in '88, and in 04 decided his pal John Kerry was the guy who could beat Bush.

    Glad the suurgery was successful.

    Agreed Sushi

No terrorist-hugging republican would ever work with Ted to support legislation that would benefit all Americans despite the political risk.

    Oops...How'd this get in here.

The McCain Kennedy immigration bill is 150 pages long and contains numerous small and large changes to US immigration law.

Political shrieking has no place here, despite the patient in question being a prominent one. Real people with real families go through this all over the world and it isn't a nice experience I can assure you.

I'm glad the surgery was successful, but they need to keep him away from the Democratic convention. Kennedy really isn't someone who current voters can relate to. I happen to like the guy but it just gets a bit old when he's always a speaker at the conventions.

    A True American Patriot.

Wow, nice comments. I figured you'd be making cracks about him being in a wheelchair or near-senile. In the past you've taken a very critical position against politicians who are older in age. I figured you'd hate Kennedy.
