Well, looks like Uncle Hugo has some pretty serious accusations being made against him. We'll see how it plays out. I'm guessing the people of Columbia will need more than just a "blame Bush" response from Chavez and progressives.

Chavez might not be the only dreamboat of starry-eyed socialists who has ties to the terrorist group FARC.

Obama's name also popped up on computer files Interpol has said can be traced directly to this terrorist group.

'...the little Obama reference within the 15 FARC letters released by the Colombian government signals a disturbing pattern of contacts with rogue actors. It's not the first time, and Obama has yet to distance himself. In a Feb. 28 letter, FARC chieftain Raul Reyes cheerily reported to his inner circle that he met "two gringos" who assured him "the new president of their country will be Obama and that they are interested in your compatriots. Obama will not support 'Plan Colombia' nor will he sign the TLC (Free Trade Agreement)." '

That sounds more like people talking about Obama, not Obama talking to them.

Colombians (the Uribe clan) must stop smoking their coffee. If they weren't so horrible to their darker skinned and mixed race compatriates this war would never have started. It's an embarrassment that Sam turns a blind eye to the evil deeds of successive Colmobian governments - 100 times worse than apartheid SA's darkest days.
