Unfortunately, this is exactly what Islam and Christianity want to do."
Well, look at it this way. Most Christians have become quite selfish.. they stopped forcing people to convert a long time ago and have taken the "I'll save myself" approach, which I can deal with. Most of the laws in the US and UK are based from the bible on the basic level and I can deal with that too.
But, you allow a place to become over run with Muslims, you are going to see that many in those communities will want to change such laws and implement Shariah. That I can't deal with.
they are pushing for it in sections of London. I know for a fact, its happening in Queens NY! Kind of have Islamic zones....
I like the fact that he isn't afriad to come out and say what he feels so if you are Muslim and you hate him, how about proving him wrong instead of threatening to kill him.
I saw Religilous, by John Maher. I thought it was going to be right up my ally, but I noticed he too chickened out and only attacked Christianity.
We have a guy who criticizes an institution. He wants to explain the reasons why, but he is forbidden out of fear that the respective institution will start a repression. Well, I've never heard the guy, I don't even care about what he says, but the institution proves him right
Wait, let me get this straight. Mr. Ahminijad(can't remember how to spell his name.) can speak in the US, a dictator sets up a tent for a bit in the US and talks smack at the UN... and Britain doesn't let some guy with a beef against Islamic extremist ideology speak in their country? Wow, I thought they had freedom of speech too, but guess not. So much for "western" freedoms. Looks like it's going out the window.
I've always said if you become too politically correct, your enemies can use it against you until you finally fall.
An interesting story, a lot of this going around, Canada barred British MP George Galloway from entering Canada, for his support for Hamas. Shame in both cases that freedom of speech inhibited.
British Muslims are horrified by Wilders’ politics.!!!!
Not true,,,,, that man can not do anything, If I like to eat something I eat it with my full agreement as I like it, I bet if the so-called Wilders read any book about The True Islam, if he did, he would not have said fake things about Islam in his movie.
Geert Wilders: I may or may not agree with what he says. He does, however, as a citizen of an EU country in an EU country have the right to say it. Only certain topics are taboo, and for which one can be arrested in some places. Islam isn't one of them.

His movie, which I take it you have not seen, basically is a collection of Koran quotes and examples how the islamists interpret and act on them. I suppose for you the Koran is not about "true islam"?
By the way, while Geert Wilder was banned from entering the UK, the same UK government had no problem allowing Sheikh Abdul Rahman al Sudais, chief cleric of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, into the country to preach, who calls Jews "scum...rats...pigs and monkeys". That, we are led to believe, falls under freedom of speech.
Willib: I suppose for you the Koran is not about "true islam"?
I know what the Quran is, I can afford you a free lesson if you do not know it, how many times did you read it?
quoting from Quran special parts and putting it in a completely opposite place as Wilders did is not true Islam, understanding Quran acquires understanding the events and accident that every chapter and verse was said to cover, reasons of every accident.
I thought this website is to spread peace not hatred as some people do in every post.
Its called an opinion not hatred if someone disagrees with you Humblesamurai. Most people that have a bad taste of Islamic fundamentalism are making judgments based on past and unfortunately present actions (between more than just a few) not just words.
The hypocrisy of the different sides of the qu'ran have not helped one bit. It would be ok if the quoted hostile sutra's of the qu'ran were left back where they belong in the long lost 300 AD eras. But since current muslim extremists and fundamentalists are using those sutras as an excuse for hostile actions, death threats, murders, terrorist attacks, two-faced statements, colonialism, executions of those that believe in other faiths, executions of those that convert to another religion or refuse conversion... All which have been going on for decades its pretty hard to understand the peaceful islamic ideology which still seems to inspire the subjugation of others not of the same belief system.
Don't get me wrong, I know the difference between a good muslim and a bad muslim, but I don't care much about religion and only look at it as the difference between a good human being and a wicked human being.
I've not only studied the qu'ran but also the bible, and buddist teachings, I'll also be checking up on the torah just to see where judaism comes from. There are extremely stark differences between the qu'ran and the other texts which reflect on the cultures they originate from. I'd suggest you read other religious texts as well and I'm pretty sure you'll get where people are coming from that are not muslim.

Unfortunately, Wilders is not quoting the Koran any different than the the Jihadis do.
And until moderate muslims come around and address that issue, you are barking up the wrong tree.
Wilders simply points at the problem.

Trying to reconcile protestants with Islam is like..forcing an alcoholic to enter the priesthood.
skipthesong at 01:50 PM JST - 16th October
NeoJamal: Ah, but that does happen a lot. Heck, I am sure half the priests there are are probably ex-cons.

read his interview articles. i bet he didn't only read the book, he examined it in to some extend degree even.
you can even try to pick his word and proof it wrong if you think you know the book better.
i really want to see any muslim defend the book by it content rather than say something by anger but proof nothing and leave the conversation.

I had laugh when reading this line:
...and while the UK constabulary is all busy watching the nefarious activities of Geert Wilder, nobody is watching these guys:
http://www.snopes.com/photos/politics/muslimprotest.asp
...who are planning a great rally for replacing UK law with Shariah on October 31. Details can be found at the organizer`s site: www.islam4uk.com
They will march from parliament to Trafalgar square, demanding Shariah for UK. Wonder if the police finds time to "watch" them too?
