LIBERTAS
That's the second European government to topple as a result of deciding to back US wars, under whatever guise of liberation. Spain in 2004, now Holland. One of these days "victory" will be defined in Afghanistan, and we'll all know what the heck the fighting was all about. I reckon it's all about oil pipelines to Haifa.

You're right Libertas, former Spanish PM Jose Maria Aznar is now a persona non grata in his own Spagna. Mr. Blair is already paying the price: best-seller writer Paulo Coelho said he will step down from the 2016 Olympic comitee if Blair - who he called a "war criminal" is invited to work him. Bush evil legacy will spread its wings over the countries that sponsored his oil war.

Labor (Bos) has created this crisis, hoping to gain more seats in parliament in new elections. Wishful thinking. Labor needs to rethink their priorities and strategy.

Not only a massive number of Americans feel we've been in Afghanistan too long. Also, the Dutch.
I'll be glad when we've brought home our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. < :-)

Libertas, the Spanish election results were not because of US wars but because of the fact that the Government tried to blame it on the Basque, talk to any Spanish person or even search Spaniards talking about the election on the internet and that is what they will tell you/find.
