El Nino, a warming of parts of the Pacific which changes weather worldwide, tends to push global temperatures up

Speaking of that, what happened to that "monster El Nino" that was supposed to have a big impact? California really-really needed that rain.

They used to say "global cooling" then it became "global warming" + "carbon credits" -now they call it "climate change" (hot or cold) and are trying to get the Al Gore "carbon credits" theme to stick.

"Carbon credits" have nothing to do with why or why not the earth is warming. They were a marketing ploy to try and give the coal and oil-fired energy companies a way out of actually curtailing emissions. Unfortunately the only ones who paid attention to carbon credits were environmentalists. The energy companies basically panned them.

Gee one whole year. Now whats that in relation to thousands? Roman period was hotter with no green house gasses. Surely people must be thinking about that fact at least. Its almost like midday was the hungryest part of the day, we must be going through a global famine.
