Why would it be over? Basically, nothing has changed there. However, I have the sad feeling that things will only get very much worse if the military does hand over power.

    Why would it be over?

My general experience is that most people expect big changes (whether it be war, reconstruction, revolution, democratization, etc...) to happen much quicker then they actually do. If you don't share this delusion then go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back.

So, your first comment was basically designed to give yourself a pat on the back?

Anyway, my point was that there have been no real changes yet since the start of the 'revolution', not that change has been slow.

Here we go again. It goes back to a square one. Hope US and NATO will keep them alone.

"So, your first comment was basically designed to give yourself a pat on the back?"

I think the first comment was clear enough.

The revoluition isn't over, and it is basically because nothing much has changed - Triumvere is spot on. Well, I suppose some change has occured, that of the current military rulers and some strange demands for a transition to democracy. It leaves me wondering whether the miltary's decision to drop Murbarak was more sinister than the apparent support towards the protesters of the Egyptian Arab Spring.

Actually, I was the one that pointed out that nothing had changed. I doubt there is even one person in the world that thought the revolution or whatever you want to call it was over in Egypt. That was also my point.

Heh me neither, just Ben seemed a trifle touchy this morning!

All we need now is for someone to state that the protestors had been told to leave and by not leaving, they proved they were not peaceful.

    Triumvere and Madverts,

No worries. No offense meant or taken here either. Maybe we need emoticons or something.

Anyway, I heard the Muslim Brotherhood is looking to be at the forefront of negotiations with the military. Hopefully things do not get as bad as it really seems they could.
