Attacking the embassy of any nation is inexcusable, unless of course it;s Israel's embassy. They're the single 7.7 million-strong reason permanent peace hasn't been realized in the Middle East so they deserve whatever's thrown at them. There, I just saved some of our usual Israel bashers and anti-Semites the trouble of posting on this article...

Interesting point, so l guess the same could be said for US embassies. After all their support of Israel, invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, that has impacted on peace so l guess using your logic then you would justify attacks on US embassies too? Thought not!

Before you are praising some barbarian acts please watch that and get some information because it's seems you don't have any clue about what's going in the middle east ,if you still think that Israel is the reason of no peace in the middle east. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGYxLWUKwWo&feature=youtu.be

Abaza told The Associated Press on Saturday he doesn’t know the cause of the other two deaths. He says at least 1,093 people were injured in the clashes.

I'm guessing the crowd was pretty big, most of the injuries and likely the deaths were probably caused by trampling. Unpleasant way to go, maybe next time they can just protest if they feel the urge instead of devolving into a mob, but you know, that would only make sense.

Great, thats a few dozen some odd comments that I don't have to read.

Wow talk about people losing the meaning of sarcasm.

I think this all stems from 3 Egyptian policemen being accidentally killed recently by Israeli troops who were against Palestians fleeing to the other side

White folk here have never talked to Arabs, to Muslims, maybe to an occasional Israeli, or Jew from some other part of the world, this is no sarcasm, just my HUMBLE OPINION, but luckily I pass for an Arab, and they talk to me about their feelings, one is INJUSTICE, which is quite understandable, the USA, the EU etc..only LOVE Israel and always portray the rest of the Middle East as those evil, pesky, backwards Muslims etc... This is NOT ONLY about Palestinians being treated worse than dogs in the West Bank, Gaza etc..this goes much further and deeper. Before writing comments here with so called SARCASM, that could get your head shot off by Israelis or beaten up and or killed by Arabs, because both feel very strongly about their RELIGIONS, both sides claim that their GOD is the best, that these lands are their GOD GIVEN RIGHTS etc...so just assuming that the white folk here are CHRISTIANS, well in the Middle East where Christ was born etc..Christianity is a little minority, getting kicked around in Egypt etc..let us not forget that NOT ALL ARABS ARE MUSLIMS, some are Christians etc... The USA, Mr.Obama etc..must help bring some peace, to this really messed up part of the world, not Fukushima, but the Middle East. Israel must also understand that the old cronies that looked the other way, say Mubarak etc...are not there anymore, so if Israel says, kills 3 Egyptian police, keep on treating the Palestinians worse than dogs, maybe worse than dog poo, well, now with AL Jazeerah, the internet etc...we will not have to wait for Al Qaeda to give instructions to act, but just get angry young men, Arabs, who do not trust their OWN governments let alone NON MUSLIM governments, hence you have this stupid mess over at the Israeli embassy in Cairo, Egypt. PS save the sarcasm for something PETTY, you know like the news about the teacher, police officer running around naked and stealing womens underwear, or the time you felt insulted by hearing GAIJIN and you said to yourself, gosh, golly, I think I know how black folk back in the USA must feel?? etc...

Seems the people died as a result of the defense of the Embassy, not because of the attack. And the attack was just a human wave.

I think if the dead had been Israeli USNinJapan2 would be up in arms. But it just seems they were Egyptians, so he skips right over that and accuses those of us who would dare side with anybody against Israel as supporting any sort of attack on an Embassy.

I think I speak for most of us critical of Israel when I say than no, we don't blame ambassadors in Egypt for Israel's human rights abuses. And no, criticizing Israel's human rights abuses does not make us Israel bashers or anti-Semitic. Even Israeli Jews criticize Israel, much the same as Americans criticize America. Seems like some people just like to pick a fight, and that goes a long to explaining their handle and avatar choices.

It's in excusable as to what has happened and all embassies should be protected which they have done by building a wall, but apparently some familys grief over the death of their sons being policemen shot by accident in the line of fire on the border, has cause this recent cause of events. Do be reminded both countries are at peace and both have signed a peace agreement and share business interests together. So if you dont know the political spectrum of both countries, dont comment.

I don't think this is just about the Israeli Army killing some innocent border police. It was the American backed dictator Mubarak and his cronnies who signed peace deals and business deals. The actual people of Egypt are suppressed and want to see an end of Israeli state terrorism and a stable Palestine. This is the people talking. Just like the US embassy in London is frequently the scene of protests.

Funny that, did you know Egypt also had a blockade of Gaza in effect at the same time the Israeli's did. Maybe the Egyptians also realised that Hama's was not helping the situation in Palestine.

As if a protest on the street and attacking and trashing an embassy are even in the same ballpark. Puhlease.

Spida, no, I don't think its quite fair to say that Egypt had a blockade of Palestine. They just closed their border. The difference is huge. I don't think anyone in their right mind has a problem with the closing of borders, not even when Israel does it. But Egypt never had ship in the ocean or planes in the air blocking things from leaving Gaza by those routes, unlike Israel. Egypt has been but a bit player in all this. Egypt closed the border, because is fthey didn't, they would be de facto regognizing Hamas as the legit leaders. That would cause tension with Israel. Egypt also worries about Hamas and Hezbollah using Egyptian soil to attack Israel. That could also draw them into a war with Israel.

And let us not forget that Israel skunked Egypt the last war. If Egypt is going to relieve tensions, its going to be with the Israels. The Palestinians are powerless. Egypt does not want to get murdered over the Pals, or at least the previous heavy handed dudes in charge didn't. Now that they are gone and the people have some power, that may change.

But again, since Egypt is not the one who blocked Gaza's air and sea access, its odd to call closing their own land border a blockade.

Man you are thick, of course people would be up in arms if the Israelis would have been killed considering they were not the aggressors in the incident you fool. Since in this incident the Egyptians were the aggressors and were threatening people with deadly force, and in fact badly beat up an employee at the Israeli embassy, who posed no threat to them I think any rational person would not be so up in arms about them, Egyptians attackers, being killed or wounded. If it was the other way around where Israeli protesters were attacking the Egyptian embassy and badly hurt one of the Egyptian embassy staff and 3 Israeli protesters were shot dead I don't think anyone would really have much sympathy for the Israeli side.

Are you honestly suggesting people should be just as angry and have as much sympathy for the violent protesters being harmed when they are the aggressors and the ones who badly beat up an innocent employee at the building versus embassy employees who are not threatening anyone being killed and or wounded. Are you honestly suggesting aggressors should get the same amount of sympathy?

I got a question for you, if it wasn't for the embassy employees, except for the one, being able to get into a room in which they were able to lock the door, do you think they would have been severely harmed if not killed by those Egyptians if they had not been able to get into a locked room?

And seeing as you are new to this site lovehandles you should realize that based upon previous articles on Israel there usually is an irrational Israeli basher or anti-semite that posts on these threads every once in a while.

actually the issue I have with this is the title and information provided. I really want to know who is the one who thinks their are the victim here. I can clearly see from my perspective...but I am sure an individual who was attacking the embassy might actually something like...we attacked, they fired at us...now we 3 are dead, and over 1000 are injured...that is the comment that really scares me from all of this..

i wanted to live in israel..but after trying to live there a few years ago during the last attacks..but after the 48hrs of bombings in my neighborhood..I just couldn't do it anymore.

Its all about those 3 dead Egyptian policemen at the border, who were gunned down by accident by the Israeli side, thats all, harming any embassy is wrong and should be punished by the full extent of the law there, but the issue of the dead policemen should be resolved
