Hypocrits. Did they apologize for the murder of Israelis by terrorists crossing over from Egypt? Of course not.

The "Arab spring" shows its true side.

WilliB, I a guy crossed your property to kill a some of your neighbors unbeknownst to you, then as he tried to flee back across your property mid gunfight, and one of your sons died in that gunfight, would you apologize? I am thinking no.

One thing you forget in your haste to sympathize with the Israelis is that they forgot to police THEIR OWN SIDE of the border, so you cannot just blame the Egyptians. You do know that Israel has the right to police its own borders, yes?

I would normally agree, as I am sympathetic to Israel generally, however in this case, I have to disagree. Particularly with your comment. Egypt has done nothing wrong, except allowing terrorists to cross their border into Israel. Could they have prevented the incursion? It is possible, should they apologize for their failure to do so, as well as for their people being killed by Israel in pursuit? I don't think so. Israel did the right thing in apologizing to Egypt. In this case, they were definitely in the wrong.

The Egyptians are not going to like this at all. The state of Israel really is out of control - not only do they practice racial apartheid against Palestinians - they are run by a bunch of thugs who murder foreigners at will, steal identities of foreigners (Aussies, Brits, Canadians) to fake passports, among other outrages. Maybe one day the US will stop bankrolling them and we can sit back and see what happens...

Nothing will happen. I love how people think that if the US stop providing Israel with 3 billion dollars that Israel would change their behavior. They won't. Israel knows they can win a war with or without US 3 billion dollars in aid. It won't change anything.

And from which Arabic antisemitic hate site did you pick up those snippets? Fact is, Israel is the ONLY democratic, modern country in the region. To single out Israel among the Middle East countries for criticicsm is total hypocrisy.
