Israel has few friends in the Muslim world Wow, this must be the UNDERSTATEMENT of the century! Friends? and being surrounded by Angry Arabs that want to slice your throats wide open like killing a cow? killing a pig? killing a goat? Maybe no pigs?? It is not Kosher? Not Hallal?? but anyway, Egypt needs to do a bit more crowd control there, messing with the Israeli embassy?? This is not kosher, it may be seen as an act of war by the Israelis, so I just hope this mess is gotten under control, ASAP!

Looks like there is going to be another war. Wounderous will the Egyptian Army fight well using American equipment? This is not going to end well, Turkey might just join in the attack. The Americans do not control them, ie the attacks on the Kurds in Iraqi.

The world war 3 going to start from the middle east !!! That because the Muslim nations have not developed yet and stick on the Jihad. Turkey that wished to be part of europe getting closer to Iran and slowly become fundamentalist
Egypt after Mubarak is conducted by the mob.

Just return Palestine and get on with life. Having a fascist religious state in middle east doesn't do anybody any favours.

Israel made it's bed. Now would be a good time for them to think about REmaking it, and agree to a Palestinian state. But nah.... Netanyahu will instead play the victim and call anyone who disagrees with Israel anti-Semetic.

I agree with smithinjapan. Israel needs to concentrate more on being a good neighbour not a selfish bully boy thug.

Ah yes, the much-touted Arab spring is showing what it really is: An very bitter islamic Arabic winter.

israel is right to isolate themselves from the medieval barbarians that surround them. Attacking an embassy is an act of war.

So Israel's belligerent behaviour towards both Turkey and recently Egypt has nothing to do with it willi?

Even if the arab neighbours aren't so keen on the Jewish state, perhaps they should learn boarding ships in international waters or shooting policeman isn't going to garner support for them.

They could have handled these incidents with diplomacy instead and not given un-educated arabs fuel for their fire. But that's Netanyahu's poor governance.

Now would be a good time for the world to open its arms to good Israelis, and leave the extreme rightists there to get crushed.

    Old bud,

Boarding a vessel in international waters could also be seen as an act of war...

Lieberman: "Attacking an embassy is an act of war."

Attacking an aid ship and literally gunning down many on it is an act of war. But since you probably consider one side less than human it's hard to see that for you. Meanwhile, Israel continues its war crimes with your blessing. White phosphorus or other illegal armaments anyone?

Bah the Palestinians commit attrocities also smith, they're just not as well equipped. If they were, they'd use the same methods.

At the end of the day Israel only gives a reaction when provoked, albiet heavy-handed. They're expansionists I know, but even from the fence I'm sat on I can see they're fighting to exist. They need to get rid of their fundie governance before things can improve. All these countries need their US aid so they'll toe the line more or less anyway.

"They ( the Israelis ) need to get rid of their fundie governance before things can improve"

Do the Palestinians need to get rid of their wacko governance too or can they keep that?

Turkey that wished to be part of europe getting closer to Iran

Iran is a Shia country and Turkey is predominantly Sunni. So they will never get closer to Iran (Ottoman-Safavid conflict). Actually Turkey is getting closer to Russia.

Good comments Madverts and Serrano, both sides need the work. Palestine has the harder end of it since Hamas is still not legitimate or even stable enough to run the state properly.

Which governance do you mean, soldier?

Israel did not do anything to Egypt or Turkey.

Remember Egypt, Obama put those people in power personally, and they are doing what he and his "peeps" hopped they would.
