May her soul rest in peace. Cannot say i agreed with all her political or personal directions, but I do admire her courage and will. Japan would benefit greatly from some strong female role models like her.

hearfornow, I definately agree. She was a very strong willed person. I just cannot believe her ex was beside her when she passed. May she rest in peace.

I pitied this woman. Her husband was a real scumbag, protected by the weasels in the liberal media. It is hard to believe people wanted John Edwards to become president. The whole sad,sordid affair should be part of the long-overdue reckoning that is coming to the New Left in America.

He was so well protected by the liberal media (like the weasels of Fox news, for example) we didn't find out about his affair, his love-child, or his billion dollar haircut. And the liberal media got him elected president. Oh, wait...

Sad. She fought with fortitude against the adversity in her life. Her teenage son was killed in 1996, cancer, and then marital issues. It must have hurt her a great deal. Sad to here when people pass at a young age.

John was a jerk to her and her kids. He did however help lots of people, including children, who suffered unjustly during his time as a lawyer in court.

People forget that she's also a politician, the power behind Edwards' campaigns. Some would say she was an even better campaigner than her husband. RIP
