Britan divorced them. The EU can go pound sand. Britan is setting a great example to the free world. Down with tyrants like Merkel and all the "tolerance" preachers who want to destroy their own countries from within.

Looks like it's a day of mourning in Europe.

I'd like to think this is good thing, but I have a gut feeling this is some sort of larger plan to give the US and Britian a free hand in starting a war without needing or asking for the approval of the EU. Russia comes to mind. I hope this feeling is just gas from a green banana.

@Fizzbit You do tend to have a conspiracy theory sitting in your gut quite often.
Can you outline how the master puppeteers engineered a Brexit? I know it's only a feeling but could you tell us your reasons for feeling this way? I remember you sensed a possible conspiracy theory behind the murder of Jo Cox to ensure what I assume would be a remain vote.

What would be the point?
Jumped the gun on that one, I normally don't do that. All I was really saying though(check if you like) is that I would not put an action like that past the globalist cabal. Why do dislike people who prefer to question things beyond what the MSM spews out? I don't have one of those brick walls in my head that prevents me from looking at all sides, no matter how "crazy" or "ridiculous" they sound. What a boring and desperate life that would be. There, how's that? Your turn, what were you doing when Bush was spouting on about Iraq having WMD's? I knew they were lying and actually almost got into a fist fight over it. The words you write are exactly the same as what Bush supporters said to me. I do hope you decide to take the Red pill someday.

I think many voters who were on the fence are already beginning to regret their Brexit vote. We're seeing that 'project fear' was in fact 'project reality'. I wonder what parliament will do if it's clear that public opinion has turned against leaving the EU. Soon we might start seeing opinion polls that indicate an overwhelming desire to remain.

Are the Leave Lemmings still in free fall?
goldorak
Yep i think it's key. Would like the whole process to take months rather than 2 years. This could also be the wake up call the EU needed: don't take the EU for granted and listen to your people before it's too late. I actually think this could make them stronger.

Come on , Jimizo. Work it out. If Cameron and co had truly wanted to remain, they would have rigged the counting of the vote. Every citizen and lizard knows this. (Of course, the counter argument is that no UK government could be so competent as to manage this.)

The EU lost a major player. Now there's talk of more withdrawals. Perhaps it's time a review and reduction of regulation is due from the EU.

Understatement of the year?

Exit vote not legally binding, so parliament technically doesnt have to do anything. Anyway, you're tell us with full certainty the Bexiteers are regretting their choice, greatly increasing the likelihood the UK will remain.
Let's see how right - or wrong - you end up being.

@JeffLee
You might be reading a bit more into my comment than is actually there! I would say that the words "I think","I wonder" and "if" tend to preclude the possibility of describing my comment as "with full certainty".
Other than that, I completely agree with you. It's not binding and we'll have to wait and see. But I would be surprised if after the losses and downgrades we don't get a shift in the polls (if there even will be a poll). So many people were undecided and there have already been a few interviews with Brexit voters expressing regret. Of course every result is subject to change over time.

Look at the photo everyone. These are the same people who were holding up signs last year saying: "Refugees in, Torries out."
I wanted to puke when I read that story. But today its very gratifying knowing that England has chosen to ditch the EU. Besides, I've always loved the Union Jack more than the EU flag. England has more pride to be just "another" star on the EU's flag.
Best of all, the EU cannot prioritize England's affairs anymore.

Add in the elimination of NATO and global chaos ensues. Brilliant.

So are you an expat from UK who is upset about Brexit? I've been reading lots of them are. Of course I know the union jack isn't the English flag. Wasn't born yesterday. But It looks cool and it is red/white/blue.
Who cares. Refugees in Tory out -that was the (sick) point I was making.
