    The leader of the increasingly popular euroskeptic UKIP party said this weekend that “far from bringing peace, the EU is engendering violence, poverty and despair”. If we look at the mess going on in Spain, Greece, etc..I would say that UKIP is about right.

    The Nobel Prize has become meaningless. Recent recipients have been Al Gore, Barak Obama and now the EU leaders. None of them deserved it. The EU is slowly sinking, and good riddance. The EU has been a disaster for Europe. Thr award of the Nobel Prize is a political move to bolster something that has failed, similar to the award being given to Obama and Gore.
