A lot of good that study does us. In a related study, researchers have found that Big Foot may exist. Or not. Because they're not sure.

Yeah and power lines might cause cancer also. So now what?

I hope there's at least three females of breeding age somewhere without cell phones. Then when the rest of humanity starts clutching their foreheads in agony and then dropping dead from cancer, they and I can start to repopulate the planet.

So what they are telling us is that we should not keep them in our breast pockets nor hip pockets either. My iPhone is constantly roaming to connect, as the G service is so intermittent. I guess when you meet the reaper you meet them.

Right under this comment box is an ad with a woman holding a phone to her ear. Thanks.

Well, try not to ingest your cell phone, I guess.

Anyway, I think most people have considered the fact that waves, like those produced by cell phones, probably cause cancer when a person is exposed for an extended period, but there's no way you can avoid them whether you use a cell yourself or not.

If cell phones do that to you, that is real nasty. I better buy an I-phone then.

I think most people assumed that cell phones caused cancer but just blew it off to "what doesn't cause cancer?"

I'm not a big phone user and I always take my phone out of my pocket when I sit down. I think wearing it on your belt is cho dasai.

Problem is, cellphones haven't been in wide use long enough to study the long-term effects regarding cancer. So nobody is sure yet.

But by the time we find out if it does cause cancer, it would be too late - we would have already been using our cellphones for decades. Kinda like some old chemicals we used to use since the 1950s but found out to be carcinogens but not until decades later.
