Tiny handful of extremists. Really, every religion has its suicide bombers.

or should I say paragraphs drooling with 'illegal invasion' and Bush references. Watch. It's coming.

no, readers are used to such 'plots' in recent past few were reported in U.K and nothing came out.

    tfg,

    "Tiny handful of extremists."

Extremists would have rigged the bomb to blow. Heh, but I feel your disappointment.

Warning letters or calls, dynamite without detonators, no religious drivel. Makes me rather think the originators are some French who would like to see their troops withdrawn from Afghanistan.

    gonemad,

I agree. Possibly an ex-military bod that swiped the sticks from the army, and has a beef thet Sarko is promising more troops for Afghanistan.

Still, it's charming to see those posters choking with envy of the French way of life salivating about extremists, and secretly hoping for an attack on French soil!

Could also have been the FN thinking about it. They're so forgotten maybe they need to remind us all of their existence....

I feel really sorry when Printemps shoppers have to be evacuated. Tragic.

" a wave of strikes on the Paris metro and tourist sites by Algerian Islamists"

    The religion of peace.

I think you'll find Algerian muslims have a beef with France that has more to do with France crapping on Algeria, than it does with Islam, old buddy.

Well I'm not sure you can say that someone who puts sticks of dynamite in a store and makes demands isn't an extremist...

Muslims seem to have a beef with pretty much everyone.

    The country of peace.

As far as I'm aware, nobody made any demands. There wasn't even a timer which renders it pretty much useless, unless somebody did something stupid.

It's petty extreme I'll admit, but if had been Islamo terrobots, the stuff would have been rigged to blow.
