Strange cases like this highlight the dangers of having a legal system based on lawyers and suing. Reminds me of US military payments of $2000 to families of civilian deaths.

Do you mean when somebody dies in service their family gets a payout? Seems rather small in any case.

I dunno about this, a 100 years for the crime? Despite what the father did was wrong, he should be allowed repentance too, considering that 'half' America feeds their kids them drugs for what they claim as mental problems. And considering the economic times.....Sad.

What an ass. While 100 years does seem excessive, keep in mind that he put his children's lives in serious danger with this little stunt. No sympathy here.
