From my own experiences with working with troops who have returned from the Middle East, I can say that Mr. Feherty is taking some liberties with the truth.
Also, his statement was far more insulting to our men and women in uniform than it is to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. It insinuates that our troops can be hired out to as personal mercs for dumbasses.
They cannot; not in Florida and not at the New Sanno Hotel.

From the sublime to the ridiculous. Lots of questions about this story:
Firstly, WTF is a golf commentator doing in Iraq? Commenting on the lie of unexploded ordinance in the bunkers (the desert). Surely in the grand scheme of things, there are more important things needed in Iraq than pep talks from golfing pros. Perhaps this is the problem? Maybe what we see on the news is all a lie and instead coalition personnel spend every day perfecting their golf games (look out Tiger Woods).
The second thing that worries me is how the media is trying to distance itself from this guy. Who cares? Under the administration of GW, the media tried to out do itself in distancing itself from gave crimes such as Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction," etc. This big question is, is this really important? Surely in a democratic society the free speech rights of the press are strong enough that they press does not have to worry about kissing bxtt 24/7, whether that but be GW Bush's or President Obama's.

And these people then use their political powers to force an apology from this guy, when this action proves that he may very well be telling the truth.

Pelosi, Reid, and bin Laden together in an elevator wouldn't surprise me at all.

Just proves that Americans should never listen to any foreigner. According to Democrats and the MSM, U.S. soldiers love Pelosi, Reid and bin Laden.

Better keep packing parachutes overseas, Bubba. You do realize the current administration now says that returning troops like you would become a direct threat to the government you say you helped vote into power.

Don't think he should have to apologize. He said what he wanted to say and that’s just fine in my book.
Actually members of the U.S armed forces voted in the high 60's percentage wise for McCain in the last election.

the second was as of October 8.
Plus there's the first hand tirade's about President Obama I politely listen to when I take my grandfather to the VFW hall.

He apologized and that should be it. Anything further signifies a president that free speech is going down the toilet.
This case should be no different than Jimmy Fox's vulgar jab at Miley Sirus.

This new McCarthyism is getting scary. Feherty should watch his back.
