"Mariam Veiszadeh, who runs a group called Islamophobia Register, told reporters that race-related incidents were on the rise.

In Sydney, a mother and her baby were spat upon and her pram was kicked; in the west coast city of Perth a man attempted to rip a woman’s head scarf off and in another instance a pig’s head was impaled on a cross in front of a mosque, she said.

None of the events could be independently verified by Reuters. Veiszadeh did not say when the incidents took place."

These three passages say a lot. You will now see an increase in the reporting of "race-related" incidents by Muslims that cannot be verified as an attempt to shift attention from the skyrocketing number of Muslims who are joining IS.

Not condoning this however if we non-Islam folks read and see, NO major leaders of Islam stand up and oppose the evil brutal Muslims. THis leave that racial profiling an open door for a small minority of the population wanting to purge the 'extremists' out.

Here we go again! This is so predictable.

The islamic clerics and spokesmen stand up and protest..... NOT against islamist violence, but against Western governments reacting to it.

Playing the victim card front back and center, and as usual our politicians and media fall for it.

Expect exactly the same once the government actually tries to confiscate passports of returning ISIS jihadis.

Profiling, see who's talking? In most Islamic country, others religions suffer beyond words to describe. (Saudi Arabia, Iran..) Islam divides people into three basic group: the faithful (Muslims), the Dhimmies/people of the book (Jews, Christians), and the non-believers (..beheaded). Is it profiling, discriminating? Even the non-Muslim Arabs are not quite same and were treated differently, since Allah has a copy of Koran written in Arabic in Heaven! Come on, the West must stop the nonsense political correct and dealing with this train wreck to preserve humanity. Speak out as it is.

Racial profiling will most likely happen, but not all muslims are dark-skinned. And once again we have to CLARIFY that a RELIGIOUS group is not an ETHNIC group and being a follower of any religion is not ingrained in one's genetic code such as Islam would like to believe. And before someone says, "Jewish" please understand that there is the ethnic Jewish person that is the descendant of the ancient tribe of Judea, and Judaism (which is the religion that sprang up from the same tribe) and has followers of non Judaic ethnicity. If you're able to comprehend that then you'll be able to comprehend the difference between ethnicity and religious ideology. Anyone can change their beliefs, but nobody can change their DNA.

It's a trap by Islamic apologists to attempt to confuse and deceive western ideologies into believing something that doesn't exist by playing a non-existant race card. A muslim can be Caucasian, Asian, Persian, Afrikaan etc.

Maybe Muslim leaders and groups within the country should speak up, monitor and turn in those who drift toward bringing terrorism and beheadings to Australia.

Once again the Islamic community is conspicuously silent about ISIS and other extremist groups.

“Since the Isis group was established we have been very clear about denouncing their lies and betrayal of our faith,” the grand mufti of Australia, Ibrahim Abu Mohammad, said in a statement on Monday.

“These criminals are committing crimes against humanity and sins against God. Forced eviction, threats of execution and burning of places of worship including churches have no place in any faith.”

In the wake of 9/11, China took the step of banning all people holding middle eastern passports from flying on its international or domestic flights. Of course with ISIS, blanket measures like that won't work any more. But whether we like it or not, security organizations engage in selective profiling. And they're convinced it works, too.

Indeed, Muslims come in all colors, but the (Koran, Sura, And Hadith) are the core of being Muslims. Please, read these books with a scholarly approach to know Islam without being whitewash by political correctness. Yes, Al Qaeda 2.0, ISIS 3.0, ISIL 3.5, and more to come would be found in the books, including their inspirations, motives, and Jihad as favored by Allah. It is not about race, rather it is about religious conviction and the rewards in Heaven??? Good morning and wake up. Oil makes politicians drunk. Just wondering if Obama knows Islam in depth as his law degree and leadership?

When all else fails claim you are a victim and make sure to hide the bloody knives! And remember, the blanket cover known as Political Correctness will come to your rescue!.

He gave as one example three bearded Muslim men detained in Sydney on Friday at a rugby game after a spectator told police they were using their mobile phones "suspiciously".

And if a bomb would have gone off Mr. Houda would have been the first to defend their actions.

Well, you are who you defend.

Look up Bilal Khazal, Ghielmie Daniels, and see who Mr Houda defends and what he is all about.

"The objective facts are they were pin-pointed because of their appearance," Houda told Reuters. "If they were spoken to because they were playing with their phones, well then that's just ridiculous."

What and idea, Muslim leaders rising up against all radicals in their religion and doing it live on TV day in and day out!

But, we all know that they won't truly face off against the radicals because they are either supporters or fear them.

I like how they all say they want know part of the radical part, but yet in Sydney "years ago" a redial man was invited to heaps of mosque.

Yep, they don't want any part of that, but yet the video recorded and give to the media "from inside 1 mosque" showing his "full radical" west hate speech, only seen mass Muslims drawn to see him, and more mosque lining up to have him with open arms after Australian jumped on it, showing his hate speech?

The question is.................. Why did so many mosque lines up to have him come and speak at there mosque..... after that Video comes out, showing his radical hate for the west = "US"??

Sad to say, but racial profiling is necessary. If the KuKluxKlan is causing trouble, you profile white people. If it's the Japanese Red Army, you would profile Japanese people. If it was the Black Panthers, then you'd profile black people. Of course there are exceptions and it could be argued that not every KKK member is white, and so on for the other groups, but the fact is a large number of KKK members are white and a large number of Black Panther members are black, and so on. So why should the Muslims think they're any different and should be treated as an exception to this rule and granted special treatment?

Err, no, it isn´t. In case nobody told you, islam is not a race. To point out the obvious: Western converts are as lily-white as you, and so are the thousands of Chechen jihadis who currently mudering and raping in Syria.

Profiling for ideology is of course necessary, and should not even be an item of debate. But turning it into a "race" thing, you are buing into the obfuscation tactic of the islamist agitators.

Good point, WilliB. I stand corrected and agree with your point. An error on my part. Ideological profiling (and perhaps national/regional?) would be more appropriate.
