surprised he didn't just bow, say "moshi wake arimasen" and take a 30% pay cut for three months.... Oh wait, sorry, that's only in Japan.

"They also uncovered emails and records showing food confirmed by lab tests to contain salmonella was shipped to customers anyway."

Why can't the Government get off the back of small business owners?

Regulations that penalize ownership on only superficial evidence, "a leaky roof, roaches and evidence of rodents at the plant, all ingredients for brewing salmonella", is what the gop-tea in America are trying to eliminate.

Rich people have feelings too, even though the poor are always complaining when grand mothers die or a child vomits for fourteen days from known poisons in food.

This injustice will be addressed as soon as America rounds up all the socialists and deports them in the new dawning day of a Trump Presidency. That day cannot come soon enough.

It's about time that corporate executives started getting seriously punished as opposed to just fining the companies involved which really accomplishes nothing. Fines are simply the cost of doing business for so many companies. Hard time is much more personal and effective.

Can we add a few bankers to the list, please?

Shouldn't that be deadly outbreak? Hurrah for the judge. Perhaps his peers here could take note?

Is it really worth the money to overlook such conditions for a few dollars more? His family didn't use his product I'll bet. But it was good enough for others!

I had my doubts upon reading the headline, but it sure sounds like he knew exactly what was going on and either ordered or encouraged it.

Glad to see he got busted hard for it. Its always a pleasure to see one of the guilty captains of industry go to jail as so many of them can just walk away.

Peace Out:

That was my reaction too.

Yup, those darn "socialists" who believe you should not die from eating a product that you purchase at a grocery store. Give me a break.

He was brought to justice by the legal system, which would have destroyed him even in a libertarian society without regulations - he committed murder. Nice to see liberals use an incident like this to score cheap political points though. Of course the fact that it shows that criminals can just ignore FDA regulations anyway is conveniently ignored.

kcjapan is right!

At least, that is what every Republican in the Klown Car advocates. Here are the top three Clowns:

"We're going to get rid of the regulations that are just destroying us. I mean, peanuts may kill, but regulation destroys!" -- Sept 15, 2015

Carson "“A gigantic, bloated government has to keep itself busy in order to justify its existence; hence, you have more regulations and meddling in the affairs of the people, whether they request it, need it, or not.” -- Carson: On the Issues

"Regulation of industry is evil. Regulation of Muslims is good. You don't need to be a brain surgeon to know that. Its just math." -- September 17, 2015

Fiorina

"Not a single regulation has ever been repealed. Same goes for excessive CEO bonuses. The former, obviously is terrible. As for the latter, I got mine! Let them eat salmonella Peanuts for all I care. I'm running as a Republican!"

"Regulation sniffles industry. We need to get r

Oh, I dunno, it seems like I've heard of what this is called somewhere before... Justice? Oh yeah! That's what it's called!

It is so disappointing Socialists believe willful poisoning should be punished.

The gop-tea will put a quick end to that with Trump's no nonsense "Americans are Losers" campaign. Thankfully, the Rump will take America back to the days of unregulated products and un-prosecutable death-by-product cases. Who doesn't want another Gilded Age'?

What American wants to live under regulations when freedom and 'might makes right' are the foundations of American Exceptionalism?

Just look at how many Billionaires are suffering under the "personal responsibility" imposed by unfair intrusion into emails that prove; "Several months before the outbreak, when a final lab test found salmonella, Parnell expressed concern to a Georgia plant manager, writing in an Oct. 6, 2008, email that the delay “is costing us huge $$$$$.”

This kind of witch hunt has to stop and The Rump is just the kind of rump Americans need to put an end once and for all to the Socialism of the Legal System, (largely influence by old Europe by the way).
