Either assimilate to western values or get out!

Why aren't they bombing Belgium?

France and US are desperately trying to get back in before Russia and Syria finish the cleanup.

"France and other countries had been warned Thursday of an imminent attack." And by coincidence, two CIA officials have just come out with the admission that they warned Bush in detail of the 2001 attacks. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3318493/Cofer-Black-George-Tenet-say-Bush-administration-ignored-CIA-terrorist-warnings-two-months-9-11.html

France and US are desperately trying to get back in before Russia and Syria finish the cleanup. But where are they trying to get into? We really don't need it. Especially because terrible things will have to happen, perhaps in Japan, for it to be seen as being justified.

The goal is regime change in Syria. The hired mercenaries can't get the job done one their own. They were getting clobbered by Syria before the US started bombing. And now Russia is showing the world how easy it is to go after the terrorists, when you really try.

I don't think Western leaders care much about their own citizens (as you mentioned, Bush knew in advance about the 9/11 attacks.

Hopefully, we will learn that calling something a religion when it appears to behave more like the NAZI organization cannot be allowed.

Freedom of religion cannot be absolute. Any religious leaders calling for violence need to be silenced.

While I have no love for the Soviet -Yes SOVIET! gov't. this is a case where politics have to be set aside in order to crush these dogs once and for all

Wow, France takes the lead as Obama stills wondering about ISIS as Jay-Vee and said SIS has been contained? In spite of the carnage by these radical Islamist thugs, Obama is buying more time by staying the course of kicking the can down the road for his narcissistic deceptive and delusional world view. Guess what, seven years ago, many Europeans cheered and supported Obama as the anointed one for better Europe and the world; now they start to see what they were wishing for. France declares war against ISIS, and Obama carries on his empty talks. Another year of Jay Vee.....

The goal is regime change in Syria.

I fear not, and I have just had a terrible premonition. In order to go after the real target, something far far bigger than the recent events in Paris will be needed, and further proof positive, of a tangible connection, and, this time, a real tangible threat. What would be the most persuasive way of proving such a tangible connection and threat, this time, and justifying "righteous anger"?

Until Friday 13 everyone, including the US and France were beating up on Russia because Putin was attacking ISIS in Syria. Now they want him to do it. These are our 'Leaders". God help us.

Well, somebody just broke into an armory in the US. Maybe they are planning attacks in each country on their list.

France seeks united U.S.-Russia assault on Islamic State

The French are falling on the obama administration's deaf ears on this one. Apparently the "jv" team (according to obama) has already been "contained."

Obama has already retreated from the IS fight. Can't the French see this? Obama has even said (about ISIS), "I don't think they're gaining strength."- the statement was made hrs. just before the Paris attacks. How delusional.

Russia should lead and the rest should do as told since the Russians are the only sincere party there. Up to now Russians are the only country not benefiting of oil black market and weapon sales to Daesh and other Muslim extremists.

Putin has told journalists at the G20 summit:

“I provided examples based on our data on the financing of different Islamic State units by private individuals. This money, as we have established, comes from 40 countries and, there are some of the G20 members among them.”

"I’ve shown our colleagues photos taken from space and from aircraft which clearly demonstrate the scale of the illegal trade in oil and petroleum products."

“The motorcade of refueling vehicles stretched for dozens of kilometers, so that from a height of 4,000 to 5,000 meters they stretch beyond the horizon."

"It’s not the right time to try and figure out which country is more and which is less effective in the battle with Islamic State, as now a united international effort is needed against the terrorist group."

"Some armed opposition groups consider it possible to begin active operations against IS with Russia's support. And we are ready to provide such support from the air. If it happens it could become a good basis for the subsequent work on a political settlement.”

“We really need support from the US, European nations, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran.”

"We need to organize work specifically concentrated on the prevention of terrorist attacks and tackling terrorism on a global scale. We offered to cooperate [with the US] in anti-IS efforts. Unfortunately, our American partners refused. They just sent a written note and it says: ‘we reject your offer’.”

@"They are our "Leaders."

Indeed. They are rotten hypocritical creatures.

" France wants to bring the United States and Russia together in a grand coalition dedicated to smashing the Islamic State group "

Good luck with that idea. The current US government wants to destroy the Assad government, and has been de-facto supporting ISIS in the process (yes, yes, I know, they call them "vetted rebels" or some such... spare us).

Russia on the other hand has been supporting Assad for a long time. And Assad, incidentally, is the only actor in the region could effectively deal with ISIS.

How in the world should that "grand coalition" look like?

Instead of messing even more in the Middle East, Holland should look at the jihadist problem right trhere in France, plus close the border to Germany to stop the Merkelian invasion.

Terrorism is only a consecuence and a pretext. What we are really looking is Rusia, US and its allies fighting for the control of Middle East, in other words its just an act of imperialism where the worth of the human life is the least important.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

violence begets violence, hate begets hate.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

The point is easy. The real sources of terrorism have been the economic and strategic interests of the western elites that have ended up sowing violence and destabilizing the Middle East. The real solution for this problem, though some people don’t want to see it, is leave Middle East alone and control the migration. In deed it would be one million of times better for everyone that the West stop attacking Middle East than the West continue receiving refugees or continue giving “humanitarian help” in Middle East. But unfortunately the true is that it won’t happen because what is moving the western elites are the same interests that generated the wars in Middle East since the beginning, and for them the dead of innocent people is not a priority.

We would have the capacity to protect our own territories from Muslims if we stop pushing them to hate us to that extreme; something that we could do if we stop bombing them, stop making their lives miserable and stop intervening in their own problems. The only thing that we really need to do is protect is our own territories. But as I say before, due that the peace is not the objective of western leaders they won’t stop, but they will do all the possible to manipulate people to make them support their wars, and I can see here that they have done a good job in many of you.

I am also inclined to think that ISIS/ISIL is a convenient deception technique, a "cover" for a much larger plan being designed and executed by a much more potent force. It is a most impressive "deception" when analyzed by global and millennium understanding of history.

In the name of "terrorism", it is hiding a war of global significance.

By nature it is not declared but obviously a "religious" and a "racial" war designed to "clear" undesired or unwanted religious and ethnic groups in the name of fighting terrorists.

To be a religious war as it is being declared by the terrorists themselves, indicates that there is/are religious leaders that "sanction" such action or even planned and designed such terror activities. In that process ethnic and religious groups are "targeted" forcing mass migrations. The entire European and Middle Eastern regions are being cleared with the Mediterranean countries "surrounded" by the so called terrorists. Funny thing is the "soldiers" for ISIS/ISIL are not their own but "recruited" from those countries they declared as enemies to their cause. So those that die for their "cause" are not their own.

There is much larger entities at play. America (the USA) is the declared "target", but the systemic invasion and destruction are in those areas and countries where certain groups have a strong foothold by population alone. Those population have not "sounded out" either for or against the terrorism in any meaningful way. Only those targeted are crying out in vain while being decimated. WHY?

Like N. Korea, by stating the USA as its enemy, the world attention is shifted. China takes good advantage of that. Who or what entity/ies are taking advantage of ISIS/ISIL?

If it was Russia or the USA, then what is the most meaningful rationale?

The key is WHO or WHAT GROUP are the FINAL BENEFICIARY to all this. Who benefits the most from it all?

@WilliB. Good post. But if the French have the will and resources, why not focus on both? The "Merkelian Invasion" at their borders as well as an air campaign over syria.

"@WilliB. Good post. But if the French have the will and resources, why not focus on both? The "Merkelian Invasion" at their borders as well as an air campaign over syria."

Because western nations are the invasors in Siria, this attack in France wouldnt happen if France werent bombing Siria; because France will make more enemies if it continues its affairs in Siria; because continue attacking Siria itself will increase the probability of other attack in France much more than anything else; because the ones that started the problem since de beginning with the wars of Afganistan, Irak, Libia, Siria, Egipt, etc were western nations.

Either assimilate to western values or get out!

The irony. It burns.

The paramount Western value is tolerance. People don't need to assimilate. They need to obey the secular order.

" western nations are the invasors "

Oh boy, the conspiracy theorists are here. Time to look for that tinfoil hat....
