Doesn't the French government (or its allies) have counter-cyber espionage experts that can attack and make the Islamic fundamentalist sites crash or make them dysfunctional?

Speed: They are probably working on that right now.

Depends what is classed as a "cyber attack" if you include bot scanners this is nothing.

This is just getting insane....

Wow, they are not just using swords anymore as recorded in Koran, Hadith, and Siri, even though they are marching under same trumpet. These radical Muslim terrorists must receive lot of supports from moderate Muslims (!) for such attacks (19k?). They hide behind other banners of faith to force and impose their views on the world. What a shame.

@gogogo is correct. On average, my internet facing servers see 1,000-15,000 attacks daily. This is nothing. Just stop using php and passwords, then most of these things become "internet background noise" and do no harm.

Cyber attacks on business is the new world war three and your military can't protect you against that enemy. I am old school. The world functioned just fine 25-30 years ago before the massive internet explosion where everything had to be on the internet or die. Now the chickens are coming home to roost and we are reaping what we have sowed. Just watch in the next few years while the world economies are devastated by cyber attacks from punk hackers in some 3rd world country or maybe even your next door neighbor's kid empties your bank account. Its time to buy gold, put it in a coffee can and bury it in your backyard on a dark moonless night. When the poop hits the fan, what are you going to barter with for food, water and other necessities when the internet crashes, maybe Bitcoins (shitkoins) perhaps??
