How do we know they are neo-Nazis? Things are not always as they seem. Just think back when there was a similar outcry from Chirac and the French public when a mother (pregnant?) and her child were allegedly attacked by a bunch of men and they drew a swastika on her stomach. It was big news. But it wasn't big news when they discovered it was a hoax, the security cameras did not support her story.

Helter, you actually read the stuff at davidduke.com, natvan.com, and stormfront.org? I heard they are quite awful.

It seems someone is trying hard to get the Muslims to fight.

yeah. only Muslims would want Muslims to fight. No one else would want it. Its was a crime most probably committed by Islamic extremists in France wanting to gain sympathy for their cause by isolating the rest iof the Muslim population.

A grave can't defend itself. What a bunch of cowards.

  • skipthesong at 03:27 PM JST - 7th April

I really hope this is not another hoax by people trying to cause or divert from problems. I got really caught up in the noose case at Columbia U only to learn that the incident may have been planted by the teacher targeted to divert the issue that she was being accused of plagiarism....

Least many of you not forget, there is a large anti-French movement going on in the Arab/Muslim neighborhoods lately with very disgusting Anti-French lyrics being played which could make anyone go over the edge.. So, if they really want to tackle racism, they need to look in all four directions; most of the so called Neo Nazi weren't born racists.

Sabi I'm surprised you aren't bringing out a conspiracy theory on this one. If these were Jewish graves being attacked you'd no doubt tell us it's the Israelis doing it to themselves in order to frame Muslims.

I always wondered why religions that put so much emphasis on the soul have such fetishes when it comes to the empty, soulless husk that is a cadaver. Even the Buddhists, who make a point of de-emphasizing the body, descend into this fetishization by including relics in Buddhist statuary. In any case, regardless of the rationality of fetishing the dead body, it's wrong to desecrate someone's religion, regardless of its irrationality.

Saw the photos of this.. utterly outrageous! disgraceful.

    Might be Zionist Satanists.

neo-Nazi vandals scrawled swastikas on 52 of the cemetery’s Muslim graves.

There's a bit of irony here since Muslims supported Hitler and the Nazis during the WWII, lest we forget the Muslim Waffen SS.

There's a bit of irony here since Muslims supported Hitler and the Nazis during the WWII, lest we forget the Muslim Waffen SS.

And lest we forget the Jewish bankers backing Hitler, and the many top Nazi officials who were Jewish. All this is "ironical" or strange only if you assume that the story of the Nazis being racist lunatics is true. I doubt that it is.

Whoever desecrated these graves is a disgusting racist freak, but I have no idea why exactly they did it. Did they have a specific agenda?

  • kinniku at 02:45 PM JST - 8th April

It doesn't make sense if you think "much" = "most". But for those who are fluent in English, my sentence makes sense.

Hi, again. No, you misunderstood. Your sentence doesn't make sense because you were originally claiming you don't tell people to go there for the truth.

Anyway, those people that I am apparently "anti-" towards are not even Semites.

Here again you are missing a very important point. Anti-Semitism and Anti-Islamism is not limited only to people who are 'Semite'. As with many other faiths, there are plenty of honest observers of both Judaism and Islam who are not as you call them 'Semites'.

As far as some comments about this possibly being some sort of hoax, I think this is a dangerous precendent in thinking about these kinds of attacks. Have there been rare cases of people making crimes up? Yes, however this should not lead us to rush to judgement about other cases. Most crimes and violence are not 'hoaxes' and most victims are in fact victims.

And lest we forget the Jewish bankers backing Hitler, and the many top Nazi officials who were Jewish.

Well then, I am sure you can provide us with specific names then. If not, I guess we can assume you are making this up.

All this is "ironical" or strange only if you assume that the story of the Nazis being racist lunatics is true. I doubt that it is.

I don't doubt you doubt it is true. After all, you think Hitler didn't have 'a big hate for the Jews'. However, under Hitler, the Nazis rounded up and put Jewish people in camps solely because they were Jewish. That is racism.

Whoever desecrated these graves is a disgusting racist freak, but I have no idea why exactly they did it.

Racism does not need a specific realistic reason. The reason is that racism is unreasonable. Hating people soley because they are of the Islamic faith is unreasonable.

Did they have a specific agenda?

Yes, their 'agenda' was desecrating Muslim graves. There doesn't need to be any more to it than that. I know you would love to somehow make a connection to Jewish people who support the State of Israel's right to exist. The problem is that except for a racist website, you cannot make such a connection.

  • sabiwabi at 05:37 PM JST - 8th April

It is not really that 'interesting'. I am saying (and said the same above) that this (previous hoaxes) should not lead us to rush to judgement about other cases. Did you miss that part?

I did not miss that part. I actually quoted that same statement and responded to it at 3:40.

But you did also say (you can't deny it):

As far as some comments about this possibly being some sort of hoax, I think this is a dangerous precendent in thinking about these kinds of attacks.

To think that something is possible is not rushing to judgement. You, however, seem to be rushing to judgment that there is nothing more to this event.

  • sabiwabi at 05:38 PM JST - 8th April

    I give up!

  • Helter_Skelter at 03:43 AM JST - 9th April

the many top Nazi officials who were Jewish
