Once again, France is trying to solve the problem of islamization by handing out money to the islamists, without addressing the root cause of the issue. Nowhere in the article do I see a reference to take back control of the 750+ ZUS ("zone urbaine speciale" = Shariah-run areas) away from the imams who rule there and back under French law. Throwing money at the islamists will only make them stronger. It is civilizational suicide for France.

Kinfd of makes the Islamist case (at least in part). Better treatment for Muslims only comes about thru killing and publicity.

Well, I hope France can at least ADMIT it has a problem of not being to assimilate its Arab and African Muslim immigrants into the mainstream French society. (I do not know if it is possible, but as Zaphod points out) cracking down on RADICAL preachers, spreading hate, venom, from the pulpits sure does sound like a good start. Not too sure if these zone urbaine speciale are just Fox News Lies, I have heard the same complaints from not only French but also from English and German folk too.

It can't be Fox. They lean to the Right and Leftists don't believe that their political opponents are smart enough to learn French.
